Partner Video: The Shoshone-Paiute Tribe Wood Bank Crew -- Providing for the Community

The Shoshone-Paiute Tribe wood bank crew processes firewood they receive from the USDA Forest Service's "Wood for Life" program. The program exists because of a partnership with the Boise National Forest and the Payette National Forest. Wood material from thinning projects and forest restoration projects is used to provide heating resources for tribal members. The Tribe processes and delivers the wood to tribal elders and community members in need of heat.
