It's really nice to hear about all of the issues from your perspective about a Bricklink store and LEGO. Sometimes I just want to relax and sort through a big box of used LEGO. I find excitement in discovering a set that I never really knew about, or other times new and old pieces. It's just as satisfying as building a UCS set!

The thrill of the hunt is certainly the highlights of this job. I wish piecing back sets from a pile was easier and worth the time. I really enjoy in the end getting a used set to finish and pricing it for sale!

I’ve been having more success recently selling complete sets on eBay then I have been selling parts on my bricklink. Even with a higher value parted out I’m happy move the complete sets right now for less money.

Yeah right, some times you get more sales on BO, and then it just stops or very few orders.🤔

If someone wanted to start this from literally nothing, what would be your advice?

I started this almost 8 years ago. Took nearly 5 years of working 25+ hours a week (on top of 40 hour week job) to start making over $10 an hour doing this. Nowadays the price of stock has gotten a lot higher and competition is everywhere. My one word advice is "Dont" . Unless you buy someone's stock for pennies on dollar that is getting out of it because they didn't realize how physically demanding this job is.

@@PopsBlockShop i’m currently a full-time reseller on eBay and I find a lot of joy in finding things that people wouldn’t necessarily have the opportunity to find on their own. So I don’t dream of exactly your thing I can’t even imagine having to pick that many items at once but if I wanted to say profit $50 a day how big of a store do you think I would need to hit that?

@ResaleSoda Just stick to buying and selling minifigures. A lot less work and profits can be good if your able to find quality items.
