Among the different uses of Take , my favorite is To take a nap, especially after lunch and in a comfortable armchair , for 20 minutes, I recommend it! It’s the best way to be like a million dollars! You Rock!

I usually take a quick nap after lunch. It lasts about 10 minutes. Afterwards, I feel rested as if I had slept for several hours! Thank you for your very informative video. I don't use subtitles anymore because I understand 99% of what you say (your perfect accent and slow diction help me a lot!) 😉👍

Encore une vidéo très réussie. Certes, on n’a pas droit à la petite histoire de la dernière fois, super pédago pour nous aider à mémoriser mais les illustrations devraient m’aider à retenir. Bravo. Dans la catégorie, soumettez-moi des thèmes de tutos, je rencontre un problème avec « as soon as » et « as early as ». Mon truc, c’est de reproduire des phrases anglaises. Je les lis, et le lendemain j’essaye, de mémoire, de les réécrire. Par exemple la phrase : « With a national rollout beginning as early as next week ». Le lendemain, j’ai écrit « With a national rollout beginning as soon as next week »!!!!! J’ai aussi énormément de mal à choisir entre « it » « this » et « that » et parfois encore « the » car tous ces pronoms ou article, se traduisent très souvent par « ce » « cela » « c’est ». Même si je connais leur différence grammaticale, je me trompe quasi systématiquement quand j’effectue mon travail de reproduction. Existe-t-il un moyen infaillible ? Huito saura-t-il relever le défi? Voici quelques phrases où je me suis trompée. (La traduction est donnée par l’interprète officiel. Elle n’est pas de moi. Et à partir de la traduction en français, j’essaye de reproduire la phrase en anglais). « This is very cosy, isn’t it? » « C’est très intime n’est-ce pas? » J’avais mis « it is very cosy »!!! « It’s almost as if he were standing before me. » « C’est comme s’il se tenait là, devant moi, à votre place. » J’avais mis « This is almost… » « Is it to be believed? » « C’est à peine croyable! » J’avais mis « This is to be believed »!!! NB j’ai regardé le tuto « this » et « that » qui m’a beaucoup aidée à distinguer les deux mais là la difficulté est plus vaste me semble-t-il.

Salut je suis Anglais c'était presque parfait " It's releasing" le mot dont vous avez besoin est "refreshing" comme rafraîchir, releasing est plus comme lâcher prise. I hope that's useful.

Le "logo" de l'équipe d'Elvis était "TCB" band, c'était la "TCB band" et j'ai su que ça voulait dire "Take Care of Business"... Mais dans le cas d'Elvis, je n'ai jamais su si ça voulait dire : "bon, le boulot d'abord", (la musique d'abord) ou bien, "le principal ce sont les affaires" (Money)... En tout cas Elvis leur avait acheté à tous une chaîne en or avec en guise de médaille ces 3 lettres "TCB" entrelacées. Très beau bijou.

Hi I'm English, in the example of nap you can use both no problem. In the example of a shower I'd use "have a shower" more often it's just more natural to me, the use of take is very common. For me a lot of the time for an action like shower, nap etc where you can use either, I am more inclined to use have. For me the use of take feels more the American way of saying something and I also think it's different depending on your age, I hope that's helpful.

the same word can be used in so many different ways .this is why modern English language is so used .i am able to understand all your words, but when the yankees are supposed th speak Shakes pear language only one word over three

J'adore vos leçons mais ce dernier j'ai eu beaucoup de mal à comprendre concrètement quand utiliser les expressions, j'étais obligé d'avoir Google traduction a proximité...il aurait été bien de traduire dans les sous titrages en plus de l'explication en anglais...
