1) get a car, Corolla n Civic are your best bet, cheap n reliable.. 2) Work on your accent & body lang, some ppl dont realised they hv a thick accent, it can be difficult for canadian to get you. 3) Delivery job require less communication, than a waiter, n it also generally earn tips. Hotel valet/doormen is other good PT entry job with tips, try to look smart. Be very friendly n helpful, the mgr will love u. That was my 1st job.. Get the easy job n work your way up, from PT door man/valet i start a hotel career to a hotel asst mgr, after graduation. Hotel, waiter n delivery, hv very flexible work hrs..

Hi Yulia. You mentioned that working at a restaurant as waiter, cleaner etc, will pay less than the minimum wage. But isn't that against the law? I've heard that nobody can pay less than the minimum. At least legally. Thanks.
