Years of learning Japanese and these videos of Misa's never fail to teach me something I've never seen in text books or heard from Japanese teachers before - brilliant. I love Misa's accent too - part "British" and part Japanese, very nice sounding.
It constantly blows my mind how good her English is.
はず has the nicest mnemonic ever. すごいはず = HAZ to be sugoi

Your English is so natural ~_~ I hope my Japanese can be equally as natural one day!
I've been studying Japanese at home for about 2 months now because I love Japan and I'm going there for 4 months next year. I need to learn as much as possible before I go and DAMN you're a good teacher. You explain everything in a way that makes it a lot easier to understand.
loving those 'so anyway' parts :)

So nara is used when: • the conditions switch orders • when quoting someone (indirectly?) • contrasting existing items (just like は ?) Anything else..?

I just found your channel a couple weeks ago. Out of all the Japanese language channels. This channel is by far the most helpful. ありがとうごさいまず !

MadChris49 I agree. I love the way she teaches and it reminds me of my English classes with modal verbs and conditionals haha. I feel like other channels do a great job but the progress is too slow for me. Learning all this grammar stuff is useful to understand the language faster.

Justs realised that the Kanji for Medicine (Kusuri) is made up of the Kanji for Grass and Kanji for Fun. Medicine = Fun Grass (Some types are lol)

You said it in a light, fun way, but I think it is actual origin of this kanji. Except that this kanji also mean kinda "to be at ease" (sorry my English isn't really good), as in 楽になる which is +/- "to relax". And I think originally medicines were herbs you used to make people feel better, so yes, the 草冠 with the kanji 楽 would be the best way to express this. n_n

And also, Japanese can use クスリ to mean drugs (the recreative ones), but usually in katakana, not in kanji. n_n
Thank you Misa! I've just finished watching all 3 parts and took notes on all of them. Whew! Time to study 📚💪

thank you for the lesson
this was really helpful, I always learn a lot from your videos! it would be interesting if you make a test on if and when (like you did for particles for exemple), that would really help, cause i can't find any way to test what i've learnt. Thank you!
It really built on previous lessons. Thanks. Any thoughts of another video explaining the plot of "Kimi no na wa" from a Japanese perspective :)?
I have using just もし+たら to say if…omg!! Huge learning
thank you for easy explanation😍
Got the sentence at 22:37 completely correct, just like that didn't have to think about it. Not much but, still glad.
Hi Misa! Thank you again for your nice videos. I am wondering if there is a difference or a nuance between しなきゃ、しないと、and しなくちゃ. Do you have a video on this, or will you make one? ありがとうございます!

Great video!!!
もう一度、はっきりして説明しました。 その通りです。日本語を正しくてはっきりして楽しんで教えることは、みさ先生ならできます。 メールの返信が受け取らなかったから、届かなかったかな。。。 Laetitia.
ミサ先生はとても勤勉ですね。過労死は気をつけてくださいね。
Is there going to be a video on ば conditionals as well? I'd love to see that!
Super useful! 👍🏼👍🏼

Thanks!
i love this girl and her channel
i have to support each of your video
I like your voice and how you explain :)
Can you do a video on directions in Japanese? Specifically, directions on apps like Google Maps and such.
Thank you..
ありがとうございます😊
Very good lessons on tara, nara and to..... but please include the "ba" form of verbs. For example ikeba (if you go). Thank you.
Hi Misa! Your videos are literally the best Japanese tutorials available on KZread! I've been living and working in Japan for 2 years and your videos have really helped. I just wanted to ask why you have to cut your videos so much? Sometimes it's difficult to watch because you jump around a lot... other than that, your videos are flawless. Just wanted to provide some feedback and hope this doesn't get downvoted to oblivion :/ Thanks so much for your hard work.
Always, such great lessons. While covering "if" could you do a bonus lesson about もし/もしも。。。お願いします。 Also, interesting point on asking directions in a train station. It explains why I get I get slightly odd looks saying 池袋にどう行きますか?笑
はなし方はすばらしい。
Misa's English is so good that I usually forget that she was Japanese :D
なるほど
奈良なら行ったことがあります なら なら いった ことが あります I've been to Nara (but not Osaka)
Now I understand the Demon slayer opening: Tsuyoku nareru... Thank you🤗🤗♥️♥️
You really explain very well. Can you please explain *moshi~v(た)+nara /Tara * For hypothetical sentences for example -if I had kept milk into refrigerator,it wouldn't have spoiled. If I had a car,I would have gone to the party. Please explain it soon
1. another way of using なら: Given that(타인에게 들은 내용을 조건으로 받아서) ~, I'll do ~.
Misa sensei, will there be a part 4 explaining the use of ば?
thanks❤💙✌
if nara is used to show contrast and wa is also used to show contrast then which one would i use?? is there a difference?? someone please explain!!
i think saying nara is like saying "if that's the case..." or "since that is the case..."

いつもお世話になります。「コンビニに行くなら、牛乳を買ってきて。」っと言いました例文は、’なら’の代わりに’ついでに’も使えますか?
If I'm not mistaken there's only one more to go which is the ば conditional?
Early comment. Feels good.
