WoW! Just wow. So that is what I have been doing for the last 20 years is called. This was epic Pree. You are so right about loving yourself first. Only then will you be able to share love. The biggest problem these days is just that. Or should I say the lack of it. People are forgetting how to love and confusing it with lust. I'm happy for you that you have figured it out and have chosen a different path. It can be a lonely path at times but at least it won't be wrought with the pain that comes from being in a bad relationship. Some people would say 20 years is a long time to be without. Family and good friends are more than enough. We really don't need to be in an intimate relationship to be happy and feel loved. That one special person should be special and not something you jump in to just because you need to be in a relationship to be considered normal. 🖤

After going through a lot of relationships for around 10 years, I decided to take a break from relationships. I originally decided on the break for a year. I really enjoyed not being complained at and 5 years later I have no desire to be in a relationship. I’ve heard many people say things like “you cannot be happy in a relationship until you are happy by yourself” and other lines similar to that, but I never gave myself the chance to be happy by myself and instead would jump into the next relationship. I totally agree with a lot of the things you are saying here.

Really good idea, working on yourself before getting into a relationship (if you still want to) is something more people should do. I've met so many people who are married with kids that say they wish they weren't. To me it sounds like they got married without really having that self discovery.

Seeing that you don't let MS dictate your life is fabulous. You live your life for YOU!!! And you have been helping me come to terms with being incontinent and wearing diapers. I am getting closer to not caring who knows I need them. How is needing to wear diapers any different than any other medical condition? So thank you.

I completely agree. I really have learned to just be happy with myself. People aren't what I like lol like, idk people are very controlling. Very high strung rn. I just do me. I've been getting back into childhood hobbies and I've been trying to hold down a job. That's all. 😁
