I drove from Volusia county to hunt green swamp for the first time today. I saw 2 otters and a thousand hog ruts. In haven’t seen a buck since antlerless weekend and ive never seen a buck the size you shot. Maybe next year thanks for posting

I always see otters too. So tempting! 😂. There are nice bucks there but it is some hard hunting. Took me all of hog and archery season scouting and finding spots. I got a couple more on my radar! Good luck and thanks for commenting. I'll be posting more. Hopefully a nice turkey. I'm new to videos and will try to get better but love sharing my adventures

First off, thank you for your service. RESPECT !!! Bring a compass and take a bearing on where he went down or the last place you saw the deer. It really helps find the animal or blood. Second, a deer cart of some sort really helps me get game out. I hunt Tide Swamp further up the coast. Same type of challenge. Congratulations !!!

Thank you for your comment I enjoyed serving our country and feel I will have to again. I do take down bearing andnal days have a compass even though I also use Hunt wise and mark area. I was about 50 yards short from where I thought which explains first shot low on calculating shot placement through brush. Im looking into a range finder. Cart yes I agree. I'm going to try and make a one wheel design.

Nice buck man! Thank you for your service as well. What entrance do you hunt out of at GS? East or West? We’ve been hunting east entrance this year. Biggest buck ive seen come out of east this year is 120

Rock ridge road entrance. But doesn't matter where you enter it's where you hunt and how you leave. 👍 It was a hard season but paid off. Gearing up for a big gobbler. Hoping to get a nice one of those too!

Absolutely would love to but they wouldn't allow that there on public land.
