Lovely
Such a pleasure to watch while you create..be a part of your thought process. Thank you for sharing ❤
Keep going!
Thank you Corrine. Your pouch is amazing and it is so good to hear your thoughts as you "fiddle" as it certainly helps those of us a bit new to this. Love listening to all the adventures . I am a Scot brought up in the country and we only have one naughty snake to look out for. We were all taught from young how to recognise the naughty one and what to do about it. I laugh now thinking of an adder as naughty. Glad your dad was o.k I would imagine in the country you are more inclined to see snakes,it's nice and quiet for them. I have been sewing EPP hexis, really enjoying it but glad it is only a table runner and a hot water bottle cover 😂😂

Thanks heaps for hanging with me!
Loving the banter about your dad’s adventures! I liked the way you said it was like ‘his soul was charged’. So great to hear how we as humans like to socialise. Very uplifting. Can’t wait to visit Gail’s fabric store, looking forward to it. all the yummy fabric goodies. LOL!😅

Gail’s sounds amazing
Your pouch is so beautiful and very cleverly thought out. I am inspired to make one just like it. I might lay out a doily the length of one of the pockets which would create two extra pockets when folded up. Thanks for the inspiration as always. ❤

Have fun!
Instead of stitching that down, just put a dome or hook and eye so you have options to close it or lie it open. I love you sharing your planning and adjusting.
What a beautiful and useful pouch!
I’m a quilter and I’m working on a log cabin right now. I get inspired by others also and get the patterns. But then to find the time to do all of them!

I know how you feel..never enough time..
I started an EPP hexagon quilt (all blues!) about 5 years ago and just pick it up one piece at a time whenever I feel like it.. it's almost twin bed size now but still growing, lol.. every time I add a piece I think about how in the world I can quilt it. I've never hand quilted anything and this bugger is growing by the year.. now, thanks to falling down the slow-stitching rabbit hole I'm thinking I'll have to add some embroidery and embellishments, too! 😂 lots of eye candy to tempt you on IG for hexagon quilts.
This 3 am business is quickly becoming a habit for me. 😅

Hi Corrine. Your little pouch is lovely. It’s going to be perfect to hold a small stitching project. Great idea. I’m looking forward to seeing it finished. Take care…Linda❤️🙂

Thanks
If you still want to add a gusset then put the folded edge facing inward then your pockets will open out properly.
I love watching you work on your projects, your voice is very soothing. 🥰 What kind of thread do you use for your invisible stitches??

Hi.. I just used sewing machine threads .. sometimes old vintage threads too..
Corrine, I went to an exhibit of The Red Dress yesterday in Pittsburgh, PA, USA, and all I could think about was your idea for the mannequin and Honey Bear's dress. The Red Dress is made of Dupioni silk with embroidery and fabric art all over it. The only thing I didn't see were beads: your specialty. The artist is a UK lady and the history of the dress is fascinating, sort of like The Red Violin, if you've ever seen that movie. Anyway, if I knew how to include a link here, I would, but I don't. I'm sure you can find it with Google. It's definitely worth a look!😊

Hi ,that looks good just add a button for the snipper?
i live on the mornington peninsula in victoria and yesterday i walk out my back door to see a large tiger snake moving along. i called the snake doctor to come remove the snake but he took about 3o mins to arrive but the snake had climber up the garden wall and into the trees and hopefully he has gone but he is no where to be seen. the snake doctor charged me $250 to come to my house and to leave cause the snake wasnt anywhere to be found.... its a scrary thing when you live alone...... 🙃
