This is my favorite piano to play, I use it with right hand and play washtub bass with left, vibraphone solos while letting the Yamaha accompany me, it is SO much fun!! I have other more expensive keyboards, but this is my go to instrument for composing tunes. Has some other good sounds in it for special effects. Especially love the jazz intros and endings. I hope it lasts many years!

Does the cable normally come with the keyboard or do you have to order it seperately? I already have the keyboard from my brother but I don't know if I should search for a cable that might not be there xD and I don't think he would remember that because it stood in the corner for a long time with no one using it :/

so i have a keyboard i bought not so long ago and i ordered a yamaha keyboard cord and it still wont sound. it just turns on the screen. i found out that if i go further away i can see the keyboard read the notes i play but still wont sound. what can i do?

I use a Yamaha UX-16 midi interface with my midi sound modules and Evolution MK-149 midi controller as Yamaha still supports the UX-16, Roland midi interfaces are also really good but don't buy a really cheap generic one. As for the keyboard I have a Yamaha PSR-295 which has a built in USB interface in place of midi connectors but the problem with that is the drivers are outdated as this was back in the days of Windows XP. These keyboars are quite a good midi sound module for playing back midi files.

I'm trying to repeat a loop but it has too long of an interval. I got it right once but it's really hard (Yamaha PSR EW300 )

You can co combine the twoby using the over drive and connect the distortion putting it in and over the manifold ,after that you take the left over conductor and gently whip it inside the value shaft , and there you go . Your welcome

It's still a fantastic keyboard, I have a PSR-295 which I bought when it came out in 2004. I was more drawn to the PSR-295 because I liked how it looks as at the time I wanted something more up to date than my Casio CT-700 which 30 years ago was also a cutting edge consumer product. These entry level keyboards are a bit underrated now.
