Is there any place on youtube free from the people who just like to pick a fight or try to show they are smarter than you? This man put a smile on my face with his dancing from the joy of doing what he loved. I've known people like this, I wish I knew him. Thanks Popcorn, RIP.

Yes he did !! But what peoples seems to be missing about popcorn's death, is the fact that he had many things running inside his head that all trigered to his suiside, one of them is cancer, he did not want to die in prison, Popcorn was very sick due to cancer, secondo, he was not alowed to smoke in prison!!! He tried to the very end to convince the autority about him being sick but it did not work!!! Thats what is disgrace about this whole thing, shame on them !!!

@Divine83 There is and was no set price for a jar. It can sell for 10 to 40 bucks a jar. It all depends on the reputation of the guy selling it and market demand for it at the time. To my knowledge, my great great grandfather never actually sold any. He simply traded it for goods and services. He even traded it to doctors for medical care. He was known for producing the best in his day, and I'd bet that popcorn learned the trade from him. He would have been popcorn's grandfather.

thats the thing. there isnt much community around it. so its hard to find a good write up how to make it. what i mean by a good write up, its easy to understand and the quality behind it. for example, if you use regular drinking water its not the same making it in the stream. stream water have mineral that create their taste. a slight taste mean a lot to some people like me. also, like knowing its homemade its even better. you know they put time and effort making it for perfection.

he brings up a good point, he paid taxes on all the supplys that he used to make "likker" and the way i see it once you bought it its yours to do with as you please. the government shouldn't be allowed to put a ban on what you want to make from the what you legal bought.

the water really dont matter too much. we use tap water for our mash but use a stream to cool the worm. but we dont really make "good" shine. we just make pure alcohol pretty much and then flavor it and cut sometimes. If you wanna do it yourself though pick up the book called Moonshine by Matthew Rowley. gives step by step instructions on building a still makin mash and theres even a bunch of recipes. or just google it. but remember to throw out the first little bit if you make it yourself

@Divine83 Man you can believe me or not, but I live here in Sevierville Tn, and my best friend is a ranch hand for Wallace Sutton, who is popcorns second cousin. Wecan get a pint for 40 and a gallon for 70. Not sure if it's pops corns batch or his batch, but it's popcorns recipe and believe me, just the smell will knock you off your feet. Me personally, way to strong, but those boys drink it like water. Like I said, believe me or not.
