Yeah they are pretty cool. I didn't really know anything about them before getting this one and I see why people love em. They grow on you quick. I love how simple and easy to work on they are!

Looking forward to seeing more! I very much appreciate the average person builds. Just made a deal with my boss about acquiring an early 88' Sammy. Definitely gonna take some inspiration from you on a few things. Please tell me that wood top is gonna go? Unless it's growing on you ;)

Haha, yeah the wooden top is going as soon as the soft top shows up, should be any day now. This is gonna sound weird but I might wrap it. I was just gonna primer it but I want to get some experience working with wrap so this might be the vehicle to try it on lol. Congratulations on your '88, that's so exciting! Let me know if you make any videos. I'm trying to crank out a video a day on this Samurai. My editing software is gonna be the death of me. I was just editing till 2am for tomorrow's video (it's 2:39 right now) and half of my clips are missing. So frustrating! I need new editing software asap.

@@FixLife119 Oh no! Sorry about the video software, this stuff can get real unpleasant, totally get it. And hallelujah on the top coming off!!!! It's a look and serves a purpose I suppose. Haha! I think the wrap would be a super cool look to it. From what i've seen the car is fairly straight so it shouldn't fight you too badly. It's gonna be a bit until I can start working on mine, it's part of a deal with my boss and then some out of town stuff. But if I feel up to it I'll do some videos at some point down the road.

@@JosiahMcBeth Somehow I just edited tomorrow's video and didn't have any issues. I don't get it, but I'm thankful, now I can spend more time actually working on the Samurai. Today I didn't get started till 4 because of all the issues, tomorrow I'll be able to get alot done. The metal bow for the soft top showed up today but not the actual top, hopefully soon. Even if you can't work on yours right away it's just cool that you're getting one. You can get tons of ideas and get parts lists put together etc. It blows me away how cheap almost everything is for these! My roommate has a 1990 4runner with the 22RE motor and he got a rebuild kit for like $250. I saw one for the Samurai for $150. I wouldnt trust that one but shows how cheap some of the stuff can be. I can't wait for all the parts to show up, I'm like a kid at Christmas! Have a great night!

About the piano hinge for the glovebox door… Why not use pop rivets on the door and nuts & bolts in the dash?

@@wzgorzeowiec No problem, on the video I'm working on now I brought it from -12db to -20db. I was done with this at 1:58am this morning. It's 2:39PM and I'm still trying to get it rendered. I'm so frustrated with my editing software. Hopefully upgrading soon. Thanks again for watching, hopefully this video will be out in about an hour.

@@wzgorzeowiec The one I've been using is Invideo. I was so angry earlier but I just finished editing tomorrow's video and I didn't have a single problem, so idk what the deal is. I usually stagger the clips but this time I did them all in 1 row side by side, not sure why that would help but I'm just thankful I didn't have problems. Its rendering right now, yay!
