We first start lot by spraying the whole owl with krylon spray, holding the spray can about six inches away from the carving. You should spray until the carving looks wet and then let dry for about an hour or more. Do not lay the carving on something plastic because the spray could melt the plastic .You should use cardboard or wood to lay the carving on. Now when the carving is dry, we mix titanium white acrylic (about a pee size) in a paint tray cup with water(about three quarters of a cup) . Mix this till the paint is dissolve in this mix and applied to the carving. apply the paint evenly and don't let it glob up in any one area. You do went an nice even coat all over the whole carving.
