He said the whole album is about different types of love and he said these aren't songs that describe his life but he chose them because he knows love songs are things people can really relate to and feel the most

I just wanted you to realise that the 11 th track is also part of the album storyline that it ends on *I'll be loving you right* 1, 3D - admiring the female physique 2. closer to you - clubbing vibe like you know flirting or picking up girls in the bar 3. seven (explicit) - physical relations is all i want 4. standing next to you - i'm there with you, for you, like you know we r spending time together effing so there is a bond of some type 5. yes or no - *Are we falling in love , say yes or no?* basically he thinks this is love when he is not even courting/dating her right 6. please don't change - its about how circumstances change how he is not there for her , yet he wishes that things shouldnt change 7. hate you - so now he realises that she left but its his fault so isnt it easier on his heart to just blame her ( he wishes she was wrong) 8. somebody. - so he is trying to move on but he knows bcoz of his past that he is not the 'ride or die' type so he is saying that *i hope you know that somebody ain't me* so that his rebound or whatever knows thatits not serious he feels like he cannot be properly dating someone 9. too sad to dance - so the lyrics are sad but the music is happy, it shows that everyone around is happy (its chrismas, as mentioned in lyrics) but even though he is all happy and in mood , he just is not happy with himself ( too sad to dance = too broken to heal ) so his pops says *you don't need no one to dance* which basically means you need to heal yourself. 10. Shot glass of tears- means my tears are not in vain, i'm crying letting it all out so that i can heal *Am i ever gonna feel again, am i ever gonna heal again* He is trying to heal hoping for the best but its a hard process and thats what the song suggests 11. seven (clean) - even though we dont know if he has healed or not , he has realised that it takes efforts in a relationship and someday when he meets the right person she'll let him heal, he will follow her around *seven days a week* , so he will love her right this time *. I'll be loving you right* its a journey from infatuation to realising love ..... its a journey of adulting cos even with mistakes it is the Golden moments of your life

You're right. BTS albums use to be conceptual. All of them are good storytellers. That's why all of their albums are non-skip and are better when the tracks are listened in the sequence they chose.

3:32 this is the lyrics to the part of the song you are referring to: “oh, i hope you’d find somebody, hope you’d find somebody to ride, somebody to die. oh, i hoped you’d find somebody. i hope you know that somebody ain’t me.” 😭 you are right - jungkook did mention in an interview that this album/songs are about love. the songs are telling a story of this “relationship”.

One thing I love about BTS they always say they leave it up to the individual how they want to interpret the songs. Because each songs are different to the individuals. So you're never wrong how you interpreted it in your personal feelings of life. Most artists music is not like that what they write (how they choose their lyrics) is what the song means, but BTS write songs where if you listen to it now and listen to it 5mos from now it may give you another interpretation based upon what's going on in your life. And Jungkook's solo album is know different. BTS from South Korea and is mandatory military service each male has to go into the service to serve between 18mos to 2yrs. Three of the members are already enlisted now. The other 4 members (RM, Jimin, V, Jungkook) will enlist end of 2023. Each member decided to do a solo album since they can't perform together as a group and Jungkook is the last member to do his solo album before he enlists BTS members will be finish their mandatory military service by 2025 and will be back together touring again. Each member will be discharged out of the military service at different times based upon when they enlisted. But they should be all out by 12/25 Each member solo album: 1) J-Hope 2022 JACK-IN-THE-BOX 2) JIN 2022* ASTRONAUT (will finish album after discharged from military, he's 1st enlist discharge on 6/2024) 3) RM 2022* INDIGO 4) Jimin 2023* FACE 5) Suga 2023* D-Day 6) V 2023* LAYOVER 7) Jungkook 2023* GOLDEN

Guys... If u check the album, track 2 is seven explicit, track 11 the last track is seven clean version. The album goes from lust heartbreak and love. Jk himself arranged it that way .. shot glass of tears isn't the last track on the album, it's seven clean version

I understood how you feel about the sad ending. But this is how BTS does their music, each album is a story so you have to listen to songs in order and the next album is a continuation of the last album. BTS builds a over all life story and episodes of changing time with the albums. Jungkook solo album is the same way, his next song or album will be a continuation part of the album golden. So don't worry he's not going to leave you hanging much longer we just have to let him finish this military service and then he'll be back. The music always keep you waiting to see what happens next.....

I interpreted it as a story of strangers to friends with benefits -> situationship-> break up -> post break up scapism and getting angry at your ex then sad about yourself and finally accepting that its over. When Seven clean verse played i was like 😭😭😭 why does it sound romantic now! "I'll be loving you right " damn take him back 😭🤣🤣🤣🤣

I, too kept waiting for an upbeat switch in the last few tracks hahaha i love them still and theyre still very good, but I truly was waiting for a dynamic build up to a switch! Thanks guys for your reactions!
