Oh my goodness. What a massive undertaking. You must be a very patient person. I would have lost my mind with frustration a thousand times over especially these last two videos. And I had mad anxiety for you. Haha. Thoroughly enjoyed this series. Thank you for putting this up.

Thank you! It was a fun build but just way too drawn out. He is the best R2-D2 that I've ever owned though! 😁

I’m proud of you Roy, for finally finishing this big project. Isn’t it ironic that fanhome would leave the most challenging part of this project to be revealed in the final 2 parts builds. I know this was a labour of love for you. One thing though, is I notice the blue on the panel greeblies or whatever you call it doesn’t quite match the blue cover surrounding the camera eye, above the green/ red coloured eye, nor the blue on those arms. Know what I mean? Other than that it’s been a pleasure watching this in its entirety. I’m not sure the violent dome rotations can be fixed or smoother.

Thank you! Yeah I'm guessing they used the same paint for those areas but it ends up looking like a different shade on metal or plastic. That's my guess anyway. The head fixed itself when I turned him off and then back on. I think the calibration the second time around corrected itself. You can tell at the end that there's no violent movements so thankfully it's working perfect now! 😁👍

I got some sad news for Imo. I saw him on his charger today she like was like turning on and turning off maybe was just a glitch Oh no, one ❤ equals one Imo gets on glitched

After I turned him off and restarted him, it quit doing that. I'm still not sure why it did that at the beginning but I think the head needed to recalibrate itself. He's working perfect now thank goodness! 😁
