So happy that I found a KZreadr with short hair!! Everyone always does weaves or natural styles. Not that there's anything wrong with that but it's good to have someone with short hair as a inspiration. I'm getting ready to cut my hair and was wondering how the maintenance would be. I'm glad i have an example to look at now.

Is it safe to say that if you are in need of a relaxer that you could mold and do this until you're able to get one? And it would still come out decent? I have this style and idk what to do for it when I need a relaxer but it's not time for a relaxer yet.

use a good styling gel, i'd recommend eco styler gel and maybe tie your hair up with a satin scarf to help lay you hair down

Niya Winchester Wash then mold your hair in the style desired, use wrapping strips then sit under the dryer. The sides/back of your hair will still be flat (straight) then just curl the top of your hair. Afterwards just tie it down with a scarf around the back & sides.

Nasia Tatum OO GURL YES! That mold is something else it will have your hair all the way slicked down. I'm cheap so I didn't buy strips I just used a satin bonnet. You just have to make sure that you just drench your hair in the mold stuff as if your trying to lay your hair down with the perm stuff. You can fake a relaxer in my opinion for a lil while
