Part 2 of Precision Cut Archery program rundown

Step 3 with Precision Cut Archery!
For this system to work properly you’ll need a few measurements from your bow at full draw.
1-Peep to Arrow
Why do we need this-since your eye is above your arrow, there’s some ‘parallax error’ that needs to be accounted for. This is most obvious at super close ranges. (This is why you use your 80 yard pin when shooting at 2 yards.) This is also a big factor for cuts.
2-Center of Peep to Pin
Why do we need this-This directly scales the marks on your tape. The closer in your sight is the more the marks get squished together, all else being equal. This is why moving your sight closer to you lets you shoot farther before clearance issues.
Once these measurements are done, combined with the arrow readings from the Lab Radar or Garmin Xero, and a few other basic measurements like arrow length and weight etc we now have all of the calculations we need to start entering our data into the PCA(@precisioncutarchery) program and building our tape and cut charts!
