This shows the progress of planking the hull and the methodology I used.
I also provide details about the finish and applying the second lot of planking. I show another boat The Port Jackson Schooner to demonstrate what I use to glue the rigging and provide a few tips to get a tidy result.
That I find quite difficult to work on as they are such small parts

Good job John. I;am interested to the rigging line you are using., I find the the stuff that is supplied with kits leave a lot to be disired and the stuff you are using looks a better quality....

The issue is that the line supplied is not waxed at all. Go to a shop that sells line and choose a selection of line reels that are. Cheers

have you tried putting the wood in boiling water.

Yes works great. You can see more progress and I am now preparing to sand down the hull and there are 2 more videos available on my youtube with another to follow soon Cheers
