Im using a beta 91A anyway .... and I love it ;)

The last one has goes less deep, so I'll guess that it is the D112.

Idk but why is the noise floor so high on all 3? Where you recording this in a room with an a/c unit running?

As I've felt on other kick mic comparison vids, I liked the E602 (mic 3) best, with the Beta 52A (mic 1) a close second. The AKG D112 (mic 2) sounds boxier, but maybe also a little fuller. A look at their frequency charts explains why - D112 might never sound as good as the others with no EQ because the other mics are already designed to maximize/minimize the most/least desirable bass drum frequencies. This can be a good or bad thing. Some recording engineers prefer a flatter EQ so they have more to work with. In live applications, a mic like the D6 (with even more radical EQ than the E602 and 52A) might be the most desirable and will require the least EQ tinkering. But I find the E602 and 52A to both have a good balance between those extremes and would be happy with either mic.

@@MusiciansPro Bullshit. You did some eq, at the very least. It's not just my ears. I can show you the spectrum analyzer results, but you already know they are not the same. They are not all the identical recording. What kind of bullshit do you think you're pulling? Why lie? SO LAME. Wasted my time here.

It's so funny. because for my taste I always EQ the beta 52 to sound like the E602. so I guess I will buy the E602 so I don't have to EQ. Lol

D112 is a good football and is to be used only to mic the tool of ignorance ( the bass)

Ok, watched the answers in part 3. I don't have any of them but have used d112 at a studio. I was about to order e602 for the budget and I guess my choice wasn't bad. In this clip it sounded better infact.

The mic doesn't matter when the drum sucks like this one.

Even if it's the same recording with a different proccesing it still sounds like crap :P. I was joking, I saw the results before I wrote the comment lol. BTW I agree with you, you can get a good mix with decent mics and you can get a sh*tty mix with super exepensive mics...
