Do you read the comments? Cap didn't fall apart when he grew a beard, he was in hiding because he was a fugitive of the law. That's also why black widow dyed her hair blonde. And Clint didn't just go on a random murder spree, he was killing cartel members and other members of high level gangs, criminals, all around bad people. He was doing it because they didn't deserve to live while his family died. Also, Hulk didn't 'grow up', Banner combined himself with the hulk so he would be 'smart Hulk' all the time. So it's hulk's body (though somewhat smaller) with banner's mind and personality - they are no longer separate.

Idk if im the only one saying this but Bradley Cooper deserves A LOT of praise for his portrayal of Rocket. Ik hes just the voice, but so much depth is put into that performance

Fun fact: Scott calls their mission to get the stones back from the past a Time Heist. Doctor Who had an episode called Time Heist where the Doctor had to use time travel to steal items from the past to solve a cse. Also, two of the people Captain is talking to during his counseling are the artists that created the character Thanos.

It's not that anyone is defending Thanos are think he is a good guy, it is just that he has motivation that makes sense in his weird twisted mind. It isn't mindless, it is madness. He went insane from grief when he lost his own planet and he is trying to keep the same thing from happening to any other planets, he is trying to prevent anyone from going through what he did... save everyone by wiping out half of everyone is better in his twisted mind.

What makes it sadder, is that he was a soldier, he grew up waging war, and that adds to his view that if half of life was gone, that would solve problems. If he was a scientist, he may have had the idea to make infinite resources, or triple the space or anything to make life better, before resorting to elimination of half of allnlife.

It wasn't just wiping out half of all people, he wiped out half of all life Which wiped out animals and vegetation is living too, so he did the exact opposite of what he claimed he wanted to do. There's half the people but half the resources so it's still at the same point. He clearly was convoluted and didn't think very carefully ahead of time because he made no real difference besides needlessly removing half of everything since he didn't really change anything.

Thanos destroyed the stones. They weren't anywhere they could go to get them. Decapitating him took him out, he couldn't help any. Why does it say "Smart Hulk"/ Because thats who he is. >_> Thor is this way because of PTSD, depressions, guilt, etc.

New Asgard is in Tonsberg Norway which is where the intro to the first Thor was with the frost giants attacking the vikings, and the start of Captain America where the Tesseract was hidden, and the cliffs where Odin died.

That Hail Hydra scene is one of the most ballsy and satisfying moments in the entire movie.

The ironic thing about 40:43 is that scene with Cap saying “Heil Hydra” was a nod to the comic run where Steve was Hydras muscle, completely willingly iirc

Always loved the small nods to the comics. Professor Hulk, Cap's Hydra run and Barton becoming Ronin 😊

In the comics this phase of the Hulk where Bruce Banner's mind is in the body of the Hulk was known as Smart Hulk or Professor Hulk by the fans. As opposed to the Savage Hulk or the Grey Streetwise Hulk. Smart Hulk made his first appearance in Incredible Hulk vol. 1 #377 by writer Peter David and artist Dale Keown in January of 1991. In the MCU New Asgard is in Tonsburg Norway...where Odin hid the Tesseract. He seemed to have an attachment to the area. In the comics New Asgard was in the Midwest near Broxton Oklahoma. 😅 I believe you were talking about S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Brock Rumlow who is actually a member of Hydra and later becomes Crossbones...before he blew himself up. I'm 45 years old Been seeing movies for decades. My first movie in the theaters was ET... This was the single greatest moviegoing experience of my lifetime. I legit laughed, cried, cheered, and got pissed off! There was a moment, I wont say when, that pure tears of job were running down my face. There was another I was sobbing hysterically. It was an amazing experience. I really loved sharing that experience with you both.

The writers don't even understand the time travel rules they established so it shouldn't be surprising.

No it was still 30 years for Janet. Remember at the end of Antman and the Wasp Janet warned Scott to not go through a time vortex or they won't be able to save him? It was only 5 hours for him because he stumbled upon one of those vortexes that sent him 5 years into the future and he probably spent about 5 hours there, or when the rat pulled him out, thats when he was sucked through the time vortex and then he came out 5 years later. Either way, he time traveled by accident

Wonderful reaction….first time we see Mr. October cry….well atleast first time I see it. But it’s okay don’t be ashamed of showing your emotions or trying to hold it back. I cried like a fucking baby throughout the movie AT THE THEATER. Imagine us having to wait a whole year to see this….opening weekend was the best. The vibes, the aura in the air you just HAD to be there. What a time to be alive. In our theater in Chicago when I went to go see it, paramedics had to be called because there was actually someone that passed out at the end….if that wasn’t peak cinema idk what was.

The greatest thing the Russos did with this movie was they made everyone forget that Hulk snapped everyone back. Until Sam started talking to Cap I had completely forgotten they were back. Why would Thanos lie about not having the stones? Why would he still need the stones? He accomplished his goal. His reasons for getting them were never selfish, he never wanted power for the sake of power. He honestly believed he was helping the universe and after doing that there was no need for them anymore. He was crazy but not malevolent.

No one is claiming Thanos is good or right... But his reasons are understandable and real. Especially when his reasons grip our own world today. The fact he was pushed that far is crazy though and of course his way of fixing things is not great, he's just very reasonable to understand imo. And he believes he is the hero, which makes him compelling

I absolutely appreciated watching how much y'all enjoyed this movie. I'm excited to see your reactions to the upcoming phases, including the Disney+ series. I really like that y'all are aware of some of the negative opinions to some of these projects, and don't let that sway you. There are a lot of negative attitudes about many of the movies/shows you're about to get into. Personally, I feel like most of those people overlook the fact that Infinity War/Endgame had a 10-year build-up and want major payoffs when they haven't been set up or earned yet. Though I admit there have been a couple of duds, I really don't think it's as "gloom and doom" as many people try to make it out to be. Stick with it. I'm stickin with y'all.
