Really liked the Godzilla dioramas and the Gundam builds.
Those exposed view F1 cars were amazing as was all the models. The attention to detail is incredible.
WOW the Thunderbirds Tracy Island is crazy good
These videos are fantastic insight to Japan's plastic model culture. Really cool!
Very nice. I love the Japanese semi-trucks. They go all out with their decorations and designs. Nice to see that with the models
I tip the hat to the person at Hasegawa that displayed all of the box tops and instruction manuals so precisely. They looked accurately spaced to the MM! That had to be a tedious job.
Really cool models.
Lots of insanely cool stuff. I need to check more Japanese model shows.
Awesome video Andy! Love the remote controlled quad 20mm and crew.
Godzilla diorama definitely look great. Absolutely amazing Japanese builders. Andy thanks for sharing. Need a model in Daytona Beach area.
The godzilla models were freaking bad ass!!
Thanks for uploading this wonderful show.
Thanks for the video Andy. I was picked to be part of Team USA for the 2020 show and was looking forward to the opportunity to visit with some of the companies and try to get some review stuff for IPMS/USA but this little virus happened and I missed out. Glad to see the show back up to what looks like it's former glory. Hope you had a great time.

I know how you feel I was too suppose to go in 2020 and then... Hopefully you will get to go in the future.
Hobby shops the size of aircraft hangers, trade shows that have your own tanks and now this - living the (modeller's) dream Andy...........!
Someone once said, "The toughest job in the world is being a mom." WRONG!!! The toughest job in the world would be A JUDGE at this show! Yikes, how would you even begin to separate the winners from the entries when practically ALL the entries look like museum quality? I'd have to stop every 5 minutes to scrape lint off my tongue from where it was dragging on the carpet!

I think your right ! I couldn't begin to say one is better than the other. Then again, I am not into competition as this is an art and for enjoyment.

Well there are no contests at this particular show so there is no judging and you can just enjoy everything on display and chat with the builders.

Mind boggling show!
Being a Brit I loved the Tracy Island model. In my youth I built a lot of the large scale Tamiya car models so was impressed with seeing the classics.
That remote controlled AA was really cool
Loved the armoured CAT D9R and Thunderbird 2 👌🏻😎
Lots of great work, thanks for making videos
Andy thank you for the amazing coverage of the show ,loved every min of it

@@AndysHobbyHeadquarters you must be very proud to see your kits their 🙏 one day I will have one of your kits 🙏🙏 excited for what’s next from you , a massive fan from the uk 🇬🇧
Great Video!!!! Thanks for sharing
Very cool video, thank you
Yes, it's impossible to film all of the model club displays because not all of the clubs are there for the whole weekend. Some are there for Saturday only and some are Sunday only. There is no judging at the Shizuoka show because there are no contests involved. It is just an opportunity for clubs to display their works for the general public and inspire each other.
Wow, the water effects on the sub at 21:44 are stunning!
WELL LOOKS FUN so mutch to see and tune to other vid you post to nest vid
Enjoyed!!!!! 👍👍
I'm a massive Godzilla fan living in the UK. Quality and (at least reasonably) affordable kits are just not available. be great if you could stock some kind of Godzilla (and friends) range of kits.
So many gundams 😳
...красивоооо.....тааакое разнообразие.....
Very inspirational Andy !! Thank you for sharing !!
Hi Andy regarding Tamiya, you probably know now regarding new releases etc they do have i think its 10 re-releases ( rebox etc) coming out about August time, 3 U.S Half tracks with APC,Mortar and Flak variants with figures. Im guessing theres new sprues for the variations and hopefully instructions update, plus the seldom covered Sherman Jumbo and a Marder plus one post war German anti personnel vehicle. Subjects surprisingly not covered a whole lot. Great videos Andy considering you were short on time for the show ( arrrgh) Japan, the home of extreme detail and epic attitude to quality. Jealous and grateful. Hope you had a good break in Plastic Heaven. PS. Good luck unpacking with your mega car model stash. I think i have a spare coffee table you can borrow to put them in? Either that or rent out Area 51!
....япония ооочень красиво представляет моделирование....
WELL EVEN I REMEMBER SOME OF THOSE TV SHOWS OUTSTANDING ANDY 😅 .
Unbelievable. I would never get through everything being shown, there.
Was there yeaterday! 5th year in a row.
WOW. just WOW.
Amazing. were those Godzilla's kits ot kit bashes?
Andy did Kinetic show the 1/72 C-17...
holy cow !!!!
top video de la france.
Yes, it is just a presentation of people's works. It is a celebration of the hobby, not some competition where petulant, self-entitled modelers throw temper tantrums when they do not get the prize they felt they deserve.
WOW!!!
320 TABLES??? Holy cow!
ARMORED CORE KITS!
Yeah I don’t think they compete over there. It’s just for show. Thanks for sharing this.

No competitions at Shizuoka, but there are other smaller regional/club shows that involve contests. There are also online-entry contests sponsored by manufacturers (for example Tobu Tamiya Web Contest) and hobby magazines.
I love plamodel

It sounded like the owner of HLJ was with you.
WOW you could spend a whole day there and still not see everything.

All the guys are building absolutely amazing models. No wonder Japan has the lowest birth rate on earth.
4:15 Where is Racer X? 😊 This dwarfs any show I've seen in the U.S.. What a shame the hobby isn't nearly as popular compared to when I was a kid in the late 70's and 80's.
