You should use waterproof grease on the guide pins so the brake pads can move a bit. And you should use copperpaste on the threads so that they come of without too much force next time you replace them :)

Nice vid. But would suggest cleaning the pistons rotor and caliper when changing pads. Keep it up

Anytime I do a brake job I clean the pins off and apply a fresh coat of synthetic high temp caliper grease. I can't help but wonder if it would be advisable to put a small drop of blue thread locker on the mounting bolts. Then again, if they are torqued properly then there should be no issue. Thanks.

Question, do you know if the front and rear caliper screws are the same size? I bought my caliper screws on all balls model 18-7006 which state that they can be used in the front and rear calipers but they only fit the front, they do not fit the rear. I have a 2010 ninja 250.

WARNING ! Use loctite thread locker (blue) on pins that secure caliper to its mount ! How do I know !?? Had to replace caliper after it flew off on the freeway lol ! Read your service manuals guys !
