Part 1: Melanie Gibb describes Chad & Lori Daybells' religious beliefs & her relationship with them

Melanie Gibb likely knows more about Chad and Lori Daybell's relationship than anyone else. She was Lori's best friend, attended conferences where Chad spoke and was with them the moment they met. She saw the pair's friendship quickly turn into something more and says Lori confided intimate details about the couple's activities, beliefs and future together.
Gibb is an extremely private person who has been in hiding since December. That's when police announced Lori's children, 8-year-old Joshua "JJ" Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan, were missing. Their mother has refused to say where they are and is in the Madison County Jail on two charges of desertion and nonsupport of a dependent child.
After remaining silent for five months, Gibb is speaking exclusively with EastIdahoNews.com about the case, what she knows, where she believes JJ and Tylee are and how she got "sucked in" to Chad and Lori's religious circle.
We spent several hours with Gibb in an undisclosed location and have separated our interview into three parts that will be posted Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Read the entire interview at EastIdahoNews.com.

She also says that they didn't hold meetings. I think she is realizing in real time what she is saying. But she is deliberately not implicating herself as well. Her explanation of the burner phones was weird that she wouldn't think hard about the reason for multiple phones. It was smart of them to position themselves as enemies of the LDS. She absolutely needs an attorney. Not because she's untruthful or anything like that. She doesn't have any idea about her rights, like most of us. Attorneys know one's rights inside and out and this case is about as bad as it gets. Cults, deaths, missing children and that's just for starters. She needs protection from Lori's attorneys and Chad's too. God bless her for coming out and speaking. It's my sincere prayer the children are found soon.

A sick, controlling bastard with delusions can be seen in a positive light, only by fools, dying for attention. . Chad is also a coward. He gets other people to commit the crimes. He just puts the directions in their minds. I think very likely Lori may be the one who gave Tammy some sort of poison. She was eager to marry Chad....and they wanted Tammy out. Lori's brother killed Charles, evidently lying to the police about self defense. The kids ? likely , killed by Lori. The police in that town has a habit to believe criminals instead of protecting the innocent victims. Charles murder should have been a crime scene with an investigation. You do not take the word of a guy who just pulled a trigger. In terms of poor Charles, when he said his wife went crazy, he was right, but again, the police thought she was just like any other woman.....She said he cheated on her, so she felt validated, cleaning him out. She had threaten him with death, and the police ignored it. That is plain wrong. Had the woman been checked by a shrink, he would have picked up, something was terribly wrong. Maybe it could have saved the kids.....The police dropped the ball, in my opinion.

It’s very curious how you could spend every single day with someone, claim they tell you everything w/o any reservation, you share similar , if not all of the same beliefs, and you’re able to give a detailed play by play of their “plans” AND YET, you knew nothing about the children’s whereabouts or what your best friend did to them. I think Ms. Gibb had much more of a hand in things than she’s willing to admit. Obviously she doesn’t want to go down too…very curious indeed.

She should have called the police on her crazy demon friend, I'm sure the signs of her mentally abusive behavior was easy to see.
