Nearly 20 years since my last race and never on a slalom board!!! …it’s super fun and there's much to learn…
Martinhal, Sagres is an epic spot to race and the competition fierce but this is just the start… there's more coming soon!

    The action and descriptions of the same was delightful to watch and reminded me of similar Windsurfing actions which I've performed myself and discussed with other people who were also very keen on the sport too.

    Videos get better the more fun you have Ben, ur content so much better than the glossy PWA vids which have HD imagery and sound but just look like a board suppliers advertisement . Keep it up coz it’s the closet I’ll ever get to these events !

    So enjoyed this video Ben. This is what will get more people wanting to try windsurfing and compete in the odd race. Your a good ambassador for our sport and I hope you keep up the videos and the PWA coverage. Also nice to see that slalom is still alive!!!! BTW we are all idiots in our own rights ....right? lol

    Great fun and footage and good job on the race course. I’ve already lost most of my hair so maybe wax the old noggin may help go faster...lol. Time to dust off my old AHD Diamond 67 slalom board and NP RX1 8.3m2 sail and get out there.

    Great video, good storyline. Very entertaining to watch. I know the pros don't want to tell their secrets, so maybe upcoming riders and their experiences? What works, what doesn't, how to experiment, train etc. :-)

    I experienced increasing speed putting my forefinger from the boom hand towards the mast, even two fingers works fine

    How much space do I need to leave on the boom? If the sail requires 221cm, how many cm do I need to consider to add on the boom? thank you!

    Gustav Lundeberg single and double elimination is for wavesailing and freestyle. Slalom is just a heat with 8 racers and the fastest 4 will advance to the next round. Top 8 will race the final to determinate position 1 to 8 and the slowest 8 from 1/2 final will compete in losers final for position 16 to 9...
