Okay so those who waited so long for the Part 2 tutorial(sorry for taking soo long(,I might not make it into a video so I'll just explain it. So you need to download ESET By Coolfsta GB Link:(gamebanana.com/tools/16825) Alt. Link: (drive.google.com/file/d/1-6tp2i2ze9WR29AGBfMluznjVyWoD2Ke/view?usp=drivesdk) And when u download it,u need to find the sprites of the character you want to edit and turn it into a .BMP file using a online converter or some sorts. (This part is important for the palletes to work) Second (the hardest),you need to rename the "charactersonic.png" into "charactersonic.bmp" or else the sprites won't show and glitch. The third step is making the palletes,just easy,you need to download a pallete template for S3AIR and then change the colors to your liking. That's basically it,I'll check unto it since I only said this by memory

3:21 the reason it's not blurry when he zooms in, is a setting, just press the button at the bottom right, and options, if you see "interpolation on zoom in" turned on, deactivate it, than it'll be high quality when zooming in, it helps alot

Question, i am planning to make a mod and uhh the sprites for the walking sprites i wanna use is a 2fps cycle, obviously that means that some boundies are too small, do i just make the sprite box bigger or do i just give up?

You need JSON editor for this one,When you go into Sonic's Animations (or Sonic's JSON file),u will see something that appears to be like numbers,u can use that to change the scale of ur animation.althoigh,I'm not very sure of this cause Ive never tried this before.

Maybe it's a problem with the application,I haven't used it in forever,I have kept using Zarchivers Text Viewer instead. u can try that if u want,it's built in on Zarchiver itself. Also,thank you for ur compliment!

Id say it's a interpolation problem but I don't know anything else,and maybe the other guy that commented is correct

I followed every step correctly,but it keeps saying: line 12 column 1 missing , or } in object declaration. There is no line 12,I even added them but it doesn't work.

I had a modding template before but this one better but the bmp sprites wont load

​@@JuzCrystal Thank you for your compliment. Also,did u somehow rename the "character_sonic.png" file? If then that must be the problem. You see,the JSON file of sonic has a list of its animations and each start of them has the file it uses and as default it says "character_sonic.png",and changing the name of the character file will result in you needing to rename all the animations of ur character to what its file is named.

My version of QuickEdit somehow didn't have JSON editor and I don't know why,that's why I just used this app instead but QE was what I was gonna use originally

It's Coming Soon but heres a tutorial that's basically how to do it- First,u need to have the audio as an OGG file. then next,if ur replacing it with a song already in the game,then u can rename it! Although,for custom levels and songs though,I don't know that yet for I don't have A PC .
