Guess I missed it, you know prob the important thingeys. Prob just wasn't listening v good I guess. How long was the taxi ride from the airport? What is the designation for The Gold bands?? Are they for Rock Royalty or just for special people with youtube channels? What is the room type or did I miss that too?

Hey! I went to the website to try and remember which room we had. I believe it was the Rock Suite Ocean View. We had the junior suite and then when we checked in, they allowed us to upgrade for a much lower price than if we had just booked that room ourselves. It was about a 45 minute drive by taxi. The entire hotel is all inclusive but the gold bands are if you have a rock suite, aka the highest level of room. That allows you access to more premium pools and they have higher grade alcohol there that’s also included at those “exclusive” pools. We also got an assigned person who we could text via WhatsApp and he would make all our reservations reservations (at the hotel or offsite), and if you want to do any excursions, they will organize it and the transportation for you. You still pay for all the activities but they handle the planning and calling around for you. They also got us into fully booked restaurants because of their relationship with them so we got to eat wherever we wanted thanks to that guy. There might be other perks I’m forgetting too!

hey! Im staying at the hard rock in mid June and Im curious about how to get a shuttle to go to the marina or like a different hotel to have dinner?? How did you order the taxi that took you to Nobu? I need to go to the Waldorf hotel! lol thanks! You'r Video so far made me super exited. I cant wait to go to Cabo!

Depending on what room you get, many come with a “personal assistant” who you can text over WhatsApp and they will make all arrangements for you. Or you can go to the front of the hotel and right outside there is a desk and people who call taxis for you. If you need one at a specific time and don’t want to wait 5-10 minutes for one to arrive, you can let them know the day, time, and destination and they can schedule one for you. Nobu is the same, but someone from Hardrock will just drive you in a golf cart, but ask the ppl right outside the hotel and they will get that person there for you. After you finish at the restaurant or if you are at nobu, just let the valet team/ taxi recruitment team out front. Getting guests transportation is literally their job, so don’t be shy! Also though, we did discover (it’s shown in video 2 that comes out on Tues) but you can actually walk to nobu on the beach, it is riiiiight next door. It’s a lot closer that way! But up to you!

But also note that Hard Rock and Nobu Hotel/ Restaurant are in the same little neighborhood. But everything seemed to be like 30-45 minute drive. The golf cart was free, but everything else was like $40-60 USD each way, plus tip. There is an ATM in the Lobby at Hard Rock and you can pull out max of about $500 USD, but in pesos. I would definitely recommend doing that. At the airport, the staff I asked all told me that taxis only took cash, so I did the money exchange at the airport...which always has a crappy conversion rate. BUT they were wrong, they take card too! Wait to get to the hotel to get cash! (Just bring like $10-15 USD to tip that first taxi from airport to hotel and you’ll be good) When you’re exiting baggage claim, there are all these taxi counters, it will cost you $100 for a taxi to the hotel. I found that if you set up transportation through Hard Rock, it was like $149 I believe, so despite the steep price, airport taxi is cheaper. On your way back to the airport at the end of your trip, Hard Rock offers shuttles that are $25 per person. Or I think it’s $60 for a private taxi van, which may be cheaper depending on how many people you are with. Overall, transportation is expensive out there. But Hard Rock is all inclusive for food and alcohol, so it kind of balances out. I hope this helps!

If I remember correctly it was $60! And it was like a whole SUV to ourselves! We just asked the valet people out front the day before and they got it set up! Tips for the drivers are always welcome there!

No it is not. Nobu Hotel is next door and is the closest off-site restaurant to Hard Rock by loooong shot. Everything else seems to be at least a 30-45 minute drive. But Since it is not part of Hard Rock, it is not included. If you do want to go, I would highly recommend calling and making a reservation, or I believe they are on Open Table (the online reservation website). Most big or nice restaurants out there are on Open Table. They do take card, so you wouldn’t need to pull out cash for it. And the Hard Rock staff will drive you and pick you up by golf cart for free since it’s so close.

What type of room did you get? Is that a Jr Suite?

We stayed in a Rock Suite Ocean Front. But we didn’t start with that room. We did an upgraded room when we booked online and then while checking into the hotel they offered us the The Rock Suite Ocean Front (which was $400 more a night) but since they had some that were empty, they offered it to us for only $200 more a night and decided to upgrade. So if you book, ask for a discounted upgrade when you get there! (And any hotel really. Many will upgrade you for free or a significant discount if they have the rooms available)

Do you have to wear a mask at the hotel

You have to wear a mask while inside the main areas and unfortunately the gym while working out. But while laying out/ sitting out by pool areas, while in the pool/ hot tub, while walking around the resorts or while seated at a restaurant, masks aren’t required. But the hotel was only allowing 30% capacity at the time so it was very empty and we were often the only people in sight in our tower so we didn’t always wear masks. On the rare occasion that we saw others, we would put the masks on though

Max allows at the time was 30% at the hotel, but I don’t even know that it was at that level because of how empty. But we loved it that way! Honestly preferred it!
