期待大哥试驾 Kia Picanto GT-line

The Picanto gear change is excellent. One of the best MT boxes I had.

I really like this car. For an A-segment it is very well equipped and buying it won't break your bank. We got here the 1.0 T GDI engine with GT Line spec and comes with a 6-speed manual only. If I had the money to buy a brand new car, I think this would be a no-brainer to get, especially when you usually drive alone around. Even the space in the rear is not too bad, 4 people around 180 cm tall will fit without any issues at all. Malaysians deserve to get more choice of manual cars, it is just sad to see that they offer such econoboxes only with an auto.

Manual transmission sales in Malaysia has ever been so dwindling in the past 10 years thanks to the ever growing numbers of vehicle ownership here and to conquer a great amount of traffic jams that just made no good sense for new car buyers to consider manual if they could put in a little more money and buy an automatic transmission one instead. (Saving the need to depress a clutch pedal, which most Malaysians here, similarly to americans, especially the newer generations couldn't afford to do) Even though most of these new manual transmission's clutch pedal are usually light and easy to operate yet many just wouldn't justify the extra effort to put in while driving.

Malaysians has spoken. Barely anyone wants a manual here unfortunately, and that's been the case for years. Proton has once offered the Iriz subcompact with manual as an option across the range. Barely anyone bought them.

Im the previous owner of the car u tested. please tell the current owner take good care of it. that back mirror is really auto dim but the coating all gone. thats why it didnt work. haha.

I just buy one this year, manual also. Very nice, I got it at a very good price. Yes wayyyyyy cheaper than a Myvi.

车虽然小但是比myvi 重，myvi跑快车感觉车要漂出去。kia picanto 跑快车很稳重（picanto 2016 euro spec）

previous gen myvi (old and lagibest) speed 100kmh cannot hear the radio anymore.rattling everywhere. very poor nvh.. not in picanto. used to own both old myvi lagiibest and picanto 2018. totally different car.

The Picanto is such an underrated gem in the sub 50k price range. If people can look aside the branding and size, it's a really well equipped car and has build quality that only Proton and Perodua can dream about. The Picanto is one of the most fun cars I've driven in the price range, and I'd say sometimes it's even more fun to drive than my Iriz.
