Where can I get a Permit to Han in the Creek.

Just call the forestry service office in edgefield s.c. and ask them. They will take your information over the phone and mail you the permit along with a map of the panning area and the rules associated with it. Pretty simple process. Just put the info in a Ziploc bag and have it with you. The rangers will ask you for it as you have to have it on you whenever you're panning there. Happy panning man :)

As far as I know that's the case. The rangers would be able to answer that for ya better than I can as I haven't planned there in years and the rules may have changed since then.

Google the long cane ranger's ofgice in edgefield sc and ask for the permit. Give them your information and then theyll mail your permit to ya. Its good for 6 months. Dont go there without the permit on you or they will write you a ticket qnd kick you out for a year. Decent gold there
