@@Thomas__Shelby__02__ you can’t really revive the religion besides producing bunch of kids with people from this same culture! Cuz in this culture you are not allowed to marry outside of your religion! And you can’t convert into this religion! You have to be born in the religion...even this person “Mia” might not be accepted cuz she is half a Parsi! It’s a sad thing cuz I love the Parsi people since they are really humble and nice people if you are friends with them! In fact my bf is Parsi but its not accepted to marry out of religion so we are in a lingo for 5 years since if we had kids they might not be accepted in their temples.

At the time of the Muslim conquest of Persia, the dominant religion of the region (which was ruled by the Sasanian Empire) was Zoroastrianism. Iranians such as Babak Khorramdin rebelled against Muslim conquerors for almost 200 years.During this time many Iranians (who are now called Parsis since the migration to India) chose to preserve their religious identity by fleeing from Persia to India

The exact date of the Parsi migration is unknown. According to tradition, the Parsis initially settled at Hormuz on the Persian Gulf but finding themselves still persecuted they set sail for India, arriving in the 8th century. The migration may, in fact, have taken place as late as the 10th century, or in both.

Zoroastrians are known as Parsis in India. They arrived in India around the 10th century to escape religious persecution. There are about 60,000 Zoroastrians in India which is the highest no. outside Iran & they have immensely contributed to the Indian economy.

Yesterday I was at Jimmy boy, Fort. The akuri served was not up to the mark, even the tea served was not good enough. I am disappointed with what you shared and what I experienced... From my side I will rate only 🌟 🌟 for the restaurant.

The food looks really tasty. But was it actually tasty?? Can see too much colour added man... I guess the best Irani Cafes in mumbai are Cafe Irani Chaii, Kyani & Cafe Universal. Britannia is good too but overpriced. Don't know much about Jimmy Boy as I've eaten only Akuri there.

Yaa I thought the same. Lots & lots of food color added, no way that color is derived from just kashmiri Mitch powder, tomato etc
