@@phoenixhounter7757 yes, I know its years later, but, Bebop runs Linux. You can connect to its computer and make changes if you know how. Solaris8X86 and others have videos on this.

did you use any additional antenna or just skycontroller ?

I've been looking to buy a drone for my travels and cant decide between the bebop 2 or the DJI Phantom 3 standard. One thing that is swaying me towards the Parrot is the size and ease of putting it in my suitcase, whereas looking at the size of the Phantom it seems like it needs it's own suitcase. I know the Phantom has better camera quailty, but I kind of see it as bringing a large DSLR verses a good compact camera. Obviously the DSLR would take better pics but its not always convenient or possible to bring. Whats your experience with travelling with the drone? any further advice you could give me? Also have you tried it with the Nvida shield controller or other controller and how does it compare to the Skycontroller? Thanks

Cezarguitar no not without the skycontroller 2. I have a Mambo parrot mini drone fly's with phone virtual sticks or gyro on phone but it's depending on the phone Android version etc but it's OK without a controller but shit can happen like pop-ups adds accident button press close app phone crash and with mini drone fly's well but with the fpv pack I got it for 560 euros incl VAT and that's a deal it's so so fun with VR and controller better than DJI the phantom is overated this can go 4000 meters and even 700. high see KZread for proof ratefthout is 2km and 150 high but personally that's overkill 500m away u won't see he drinks without fpv at 150 m away it's hard to see mpossible to steer ( forward is not distinguish between other side's this most press conference e home no troler DJI phantom 3 standard but if it's cheap get parrot they are well made thought out and so many things to do like follow me or fpv or preprogrammed flights no steering necessary and yeah the controller especially the skycontroller 2 not 1 make it great and no problems with streaming video and connection and it's stands so still in the air and won't crash it's somehow got avoidance not fully but it's not totally stupid like indoors it hovers at 1 meter and yeah I fly it inside ! and outside it hovers around 5 to 10meters !? cool shit Pluss it's got pneumatic suspension from propellers to body to stabilize body with its internal 3 axis stabilization 1080p video with ability to change where you see ie up down like straight down to straight and even view up! DJI dunno if it can look up

Nice flight but if you do a proper gyro adjustment before you launch with even reference points being level for the craft your horizon will actually be flatter on the screen and not skewed and tilted as it is in your video.

Add the overlay and the ability to edit your flight videos using "VIRB Edit" and "FlightData Manager". Here is the link telling you how to do it, "sites.google.com/site/pud2gpxkmlcsv/#Step_by_step_guide" Both programs are free and available for both Mac & Windows. Make sure your signed into Drone Academy during your flight though because that is where your flight data comes from.

this was done with brand new battery (charged only once) and skycontroller 1, not the 2 which has less rage due to smaller antenna. the day was a warm day which reduces the discharge rate compared to cold day. I tried this in winter but wasn't able to get that much range due to cold weather. Also the wind was from the west which helped the drones return time. the rest of it was luck I guess.

Nice footage. I got one with FPV control, it says i can get up to one and a quarter miles, does anyone know if the sky controller has a better range.

Frdo Mirlo yes I got lost connection with bebop 2 and skycontroller 2 and it was above me at 40 meters and one other Tim height 30 meters and distance 40 meters away

with an Ipad connected to skycontroller do you get much Lagg with live footage? sorry for the constant questions.

2,700 Mah Li-Po Batteries. Range-1.24 Miles with skycontroller, supposedly. Check out the Parrot Community, there is usually some good information there.

With the Skycontroller and Ipad, the Parrot website says your supposed to get 1.24 Miles. But I usually get about 1,500-1,750 Feet.

Did you connect to the skycontroller and not the drone when you were using the skycontroller? If so, thats why your getting 400 feet range with both.
