With a simple touch of white washed houses they could make of the village a spectacular place. I feel sad when I see the Casbah of Algiers neglected and it's beauty of the inside and outside of the house starting to fade.

Souhil سهيل All The whitewashed houses and streets originally had another purpose in Greece...desinfectant. It is still done and has to be done before the Greek Easter. So not only beautiful but effective.
