I definitely prefer Tom to the new voice. Here Tom broadcast alongside another male voice & female voice. The female voice did the river levels & the other male voice did the time check. Tom did everything else.

I liked Tom to but Tom has problems... To many problems, I got the Download File to Tom and trying to get him to do a EAS alert in a EAS Digital Encoder he skips lines to fast that makes it sound like they were together, and Tom gets a bit staticly when he says long sentences

Tom should have never left. Paul is too softspoken of a dude. Tom had a sense of urgency in his voice that would send shivers down your spine during EAS broadcasts. He got your attention. #BringBackTom

This video should've deserved the few million views that he mentioned. He can pronounce, with a *tone* that Is SO realistic and intimidating that deserves the most respect in the tts community. This doesn't sound computer generated. It's about as real as an ai basically.

Tom is WAY better than the new Paul. I always think of GoAnimate every time I hear the new Paul. I just hear Boris making a weather alert.

Back in 2016, the first time I heard the new Paul on the public radio, I thought it was only a temporary voice. I was like "No way that is the new voice", but it turned out to be. Because I always thought of GoAnimate too when I heard the new Paul voice.

Where did you get Tom's voice?

Imo, Paul Junior has improved somewhat, at least in NWS Jacksonville and Tallahassee. Other than that, I still prefer Tom. And having Donna and Paul Senior to announce sunrises, sunsets, tides and the local time.

I know Microsoft Sam and Tom are really really really good friends, so I'm not putting any contreversy between them. Look, if there was a tts social media thing, I'd tell you that Eloquence and Tom have drama between each other.

Microsoft Sam be like after that texts Tom and says, "Tom, I watched your video. Wow, your speech was so amazing!" They have a facetime chat. Microsoft Sam, "Tom, I'll tell you something. I remember well doing the recordings in my own human voice, and how disappointed I was with the new computer voice. It has improved, but it still seems artificial. At least it's consistent.

CVS pharmacy uses this exact same voice. I kid you not.

After what happened 10_11_21 tornado outbreak paul needs to go he failed that why no one took the warnings seriously, abousley disappointed and aslo imbrashing to the National Weather Service.

DECTalk Paul and Tom and Donna and Craig is the voices that I prefer plus Microsoft Sam cuz NEOspeech Paul is ok but he’s slow and he’s included in them cringy go animate/ vyond videos which is not ok but that’s just lost in the void but he’s just too soft with his talking I think that DECTalk Paul should be the voice of the national weather service.
