ATTENTION ATTENTION. First of all I hate to criticise videos as I know how much effort goes into making them. I feel the need to in this instance. This is some of the most dangerous practices I've ever seen. You are an accident waiting to happen. Never ever run materials through without supporting the peice directly between the blade & fence. If you don't support the peice between fence & blade you risk kickback. Never crosscut a piece that's long & narrow without a mitre guage or crosscut sled. When using a mitre guage don't use the fence too. You also risk the workpiece getting jammed between the blade & fence causing kickback. Don't wear gloves. Please delete this video for people's safety. Seen a lot of your videos & normally I enjoy watching them but this was scary to watch

The scariest thing is seeing the operator trying to catch the cut woods while the blade was still rotating.

That was bit scary. Pls be careful of kickbacks… some very scary moments there. I would recommend watching a lot of table saw safety videos. Safety first. The saw blade always wins when things go bad.

It's safer not to wear gloves while you are using the table saw. On the other hand it is better to put on gloves while you are changing the blade.

Negatives ... the driver, as soon as you lock it after a few cuts, it plays, it has a lot of stuff, so you will need a large aluminum level and clamps. The surface of the table is not straight but curved.. with the result that when you push wood they stick. The discs do not cut at all with the result that the wood sticks a little.. It would have been better if I had given something more than to get a jigsaw and a good circular saw for straightness cuts with an aluminum guide. it's better to get a miter saw or two for work or a sliding one, because for better or for worse, straight cuts are cut from where you buy the wood sheets ,for the beams you'll have to cut them by hand as they won't come out straight... and you'd better use a sliding miter saw and a good circular saw. However, I would not recommend it for purchase

I bought this one and I m sorry to say it s all a too childish toy: Table top not horizontal, insert pretty wide yet offset, blade not parallel to fence, smooth start absent etc Had to refix everything, even used thin spacers at specific places to turn the axle and blade and get it parallel to fence. I also recommend an addition of a soft starter to the power line, to prolong its life span and make it safer at the same time. As a result, I don't recommend it for somebody who can't repair or regulate things

Stay safe

(Translated) My friend, I say this in all good spirits. Do not cut wood that is not supported by the mitre, as you do in19:20, the wood can wedge and kickback. I'm also impressed that it doesn't have a metal part in the box that sticks next to the fence that is used to avoid such situations. Half the cuts you made in the video don't even need the fence, just the mitre. Stay safe

I've did a reconstruction. Added one more screw on opposite side for tightening all motor structure (for angle adjusting) which was moving like crazy. Now, all structure is 5x stronger. Now I have 2 screws, but doesn't matter. A metal guide behind a saw is not in line with saw teeth. That could be ajusted too. So terrible. Have many mashines from Parkside, but this is worst. Alu guide is also peace of crap and tightening just where head is, no two side. The head of alu guide is higher then table. Double checking with some measuring tool is a must. Angle guide is so light, plastic and miserable. When elevate saw, a saw has great moving left right, so you have to pay attention the lifting handle be in same position. They could make it much better for same money.

Did you you do any pre calibration prior to use?. Was the table top flat?, was the blade parallel to the mitre slots?, was the fence parallel to the blade?, was the blade really at 90 degrees to the top when it its 90 degree position?. Without checking these things and been able to calibrate them would make any cuts inaccurate. The fence looks like it locks on both sides of table which is nice, however it still looks really floppy. I know it's a budget saw, but knowing if it's going to give fairly accurate cuts is important buying decision. Thanks for showing this product and have fun with it!

I would suggest to add and demonstrate pre adjustment and pre-calibration prior to use: 1) How to check and set the table top to be flat. 2) How to check and set the blade is parallel to the Mitre slots. 3) How to check the fence is parallel to the blade. 4) How to check the blade actually at 90 degrees to the top once it is in 90 degree position. Recommend all those to be pre-checked / calibrate to make any cuts accurate. NOTE: The fence looks like it is locked on both sides of the table (can you please provide details). That is very important, but better design may be required as current looks a floppy. Otherwise great presentation. Thank you.

I just bought one of these saws, pretty decent for the money and you do get what you pay for. The biggest disappointment is the non-standard T-slots and being it comes with a totally useless mitre gauge, one cannot buy one of the available replacements that are available. The only option is to DIY a sled with wooden or nylon rails and an option for mitre cuts, lots of videos on how to do this on KZread.

Rather odd and positively dangerous to be making cross cuts with a rip fence. But the more important reason I'm writing this comment is because after only three cuts the cam that locks the rip fence snapped off, making the machine totally unusable. A sturdier fence was the only reason I bought this table saw since I already had a Scheppach which worked fine apart from the wobbly fence. Now I have no fence at all. And it wasn't even the plastic that broke but the locking metal ring inside. I'm going back to Lidl to see what they're going to do about it but in any case I don't recommend.

I just bought it. Only idiot who bought engineering diploma could made it so inaccurate, floppy, screws longer, fence is locking just in front side and it is so movable. The screw of mechanical part lifting saw is clumsy, and saw is so inaccurate. a front plastic part of fence is 1 mm ticker then aluminium fence. The red mechanical hand for tighten fence is so wider then fence , etc. Lot of work for me to make it good. Parkside, shame on you!!!

You do have to spend some time setting the saw up... blade, fence, etc. But once done, the saw is great. Fairly compact which is Nice kzread.infoUgkxXh-4_3-ZT1fFWP91ZV7iVqzElr0lEb-a I did get an Incra Miter Gauge which takes some setup as well. The stock miter gauge can be adjusted in the miter slot with a little painter's tape... this tightens up the side to side play a lot.

Very poor quality in my opinion. The instruction manuals are a nightmare. The main surface is not smooth on the right side, so to put the saw at 90º is impossible at all because the square does not fit well. Better to have a magnet nearby in case any screws fall out during the saw change. The rails are imprecise and need more complicated solutions. In my case, both rulers were the same for both sides (both correspond to the right side :-( , so there is no reverse measuring scale and the plastic end cap cannot be put on. I have other Parkside tools, but this one although it can be fixed, for me was disappointing. I think in fact the box came already repackaged from some returned shipment.

Zeer slecht voorbeeld

This video is a safety hazard! Never do crosscuts like this (19:20 is an example on how NOT to do it! use a sled!) and never cut warped pieces that are not well supported! Really nice tool but you need to work on your safety guidelines!

Had to stop watching. I would imagine he got to the end in one piece, and if he did it was through pure luck. Please dont use any table saw in this manner. Never use gloves, never reach across a spinning table saw blade, use a sled when making cross cuts with a table saw, never use a fence for it. Kickback and loss of fingers or hands if you are not careful. This video should be removed as dangerous..

So many things so wrong here…work with fingers closed behind the piece off wood, not over…like a thumbs up with your thumbs down. First saw blade is used for massive wood only ,second saw blade is used for mdf and other pressed wood panels. But anyway it gives a good idea of the quality of the machine. I personally would invest a bit more for better quality and safety. But it’s hard to beat the price for this hobby tool.

OMG! Please review table saw safety! You passed your hand over the blade while it was still spinning. You also tried to do cross cuts using the fence . What, do you enjoy getting kickback? You’re supposed to use a cross cut sled or your miter gauge. You should remove this video!

Nasty noisy thing. Have to remove crown guard for work to pass and also user is cross cutting against a fence. First try at wood work was it pal ?? Cross cut mitre without a cross cut fence. ......in a glove. Oh my god this is crazy and dangerous. Tech Guru ....more like accident waiting to happen guru
