I bought 2 units if the new 8ah battery to use on the 40v leafblower and they deliver significantly more power than the previous 4ah in level 3 and 4 (of 4). And the can endure the turbo boost for 30 seconds, while the 4ah couldn't for that long, while push more air. The leafblower consumes close to 3000w in turbo mode.

Love all cordless tools but in this case (angle grinder)on some bigger material Electric angle grinder, is much more efficient. However bigger battery = more power :) Interesting test my Friend. Regards

Can you please compare 4Ah old battery vs. 4Ah Smart battey with the Grinder? There ist a big mystic in the community, wich performs better wether it is equal.
Very good test! I have also bought a Parkside smart battery 8AH, in it you can set "Battery work mode" -> Performance, Balance, Eco. For Balance, the maximum current is 80A and for Performance it is 100A. How was your battery set up when you did the test?

Smaller battery = less cells = higher internal resistance = higher voltage drop on load, so battery protection circuit cuts the power, to prevent cell under-voltage = damage. As grinders are huge power consumers, they ask for high current and those small batteries cannot really deliver it.

Hello. Why my parkside battery 8ah overheat when is used on angle grinder? I work like 60 seconds and grinder won't start.. (im not making alot of load on it)

Besides an 8 amp battery have you tried another 4 amp for example? impossible to heat up in 60 seconds. either there is a damaged cell or there is a problem in the angle grinder
Can you tell me where you live please,?? The reason I'm asking is that the only country they will post those batteries to is Germany, so I'm wondering how you got your hands on them. I wanted to buy these for ages now, but it's impossible. I live in Ireland

Използваш 4Ah батерия нали? Със сигурност режеш с 4Ah но все пак да те попитам. Защото 2Ah освен за зелен винтоверт и USB адаптер, за нищо друго не става.

It's because the voltage dropped during work, that doesn't mean it's emptied 👍🏻

Yes you can do it but what will you use it for? and both batteries must be charged to the same voltage or fully charged.
