Either she knew something, or (as I always kind of thought) since the show's origination was born partly from Amy's previous characters and ideas, at least a bit, she maybe had a little more influence over the show than other cast members did? Just me guessing...

They're very like their characters. Except Chris Pratt isn't dumb, but he's still as goofy and hilarious. Adam just is Ben, Amy is as awesome as Leslie and Aubrey really couldn't give a fuck.

well after all, they DID create the character April out of Aubrey herself. The character was even named Aubrey in the initial pilot script they all learned, only to show up on the first day of shooting to see her renamed to April. So whether April is intentionally like that or just, like many actors, always acting in a character she sort of built up through her life, there is a LOT of April born from Aubrey. Aubrey is more than April by far, but April is like a subset of Aubrey, I guess. Based on everything I've read from the writers and producers of PnR

It's amazing to see how nervous Chris Pratt is in this video compared to his more recent interviews, especially after Guardians. I feel it really just shows how much he's grown as an actor and even a celebrity in just a short amount of time.

I know! There have to be hours upon hours of footage that never made it on the air! Between deleted scenes, fun runs, and bloopers...one of the creators said in an interview that they end up with something like 75 minutes of film per episode, but only 23 or so minutes actually air. I would love to see every minute of it.

I literally almost stopped watching 35 seconds in... there is no "ron swanson turkey burger." Chris made a turkey burger as a challenge (to Ron) to remove the cafeteria's plain beef burgers. also it's not "treat yourself," it's TREAT YO SELF. alright point made, I'm done.

LOL at 2:04 when Adam Scott says "When that doesn't work" its like are you implying a google abortion?? Aubrey gives him this look head quarck like that got dark real fast. Poehler jumps in and saves the day. Perhaps he was implying something else altogether but that's what I came away with.

On the first season I was concerned that the show would be kind of a The Office clone, because of the format, but it turned out that Parks And Recs was a really special show. Love the show.

Am I the only one that feels like they could’ve easily given Ron his own show at the end of parks and rec? They even set him up with the perfect job and a supporting cast. He was working as a park ranger with his own crew. Would’ve been gold.

my thoughts exactly! when they were listing all the reoccurring characters.he is the best. he is kinda like next level though. above other smaller back characters. he is in his own league of stardom. he isn't a main character, yet i almost think of him as one because of how hilarious and good he is.
