Thanks for the tip on the metal loop thing, I was aiming to climb fairly quickly through any means possible, so I didnt do it with just the wall (I use the chain also) but if you ever go and do the climb yourself, you'll see how its much worse without those parts to help! Scott

@cmoun5 Depends on how you're holding on to the thing, I guess. I'm pretty confident that your index finger could withstand that force unless the angle was somehow awkward. I was merely pointing out that he couldn't afford to slip anyway though.

I always find it more fun going up the right hand side when climbing the Dame, you actualy get to have fun climbing. compared to the boring left side were the climb just seems repetative.

seeing how long it took daniel to climb this (probably wasnt going his fastest but anyway) makes me rate david belle again that guy scaled this structure in seconds lol. he had a lot of practise but hey hes a sick man.

@cmoun5 So what, you'd be dead falling from there anyway wouldn't you? I can't tell how high it is, the camera seems to have a slight fish-eye effect that distorts distances.

@@jzjzjzj Apparently, some climbers didn't know that Until they saw their mates die or get injured and, for some of them, become handicapped for life Let's say that the regulations that forbid the climb are some kind of "We told you so" message. If you get injured or die, it's your responsibility
