Most apartments, mine included, have a clause in the lease that specifically forbids work vehicles/trailers from being on property. We had a school bus driver who thought it was OK to park the full-size school bus on property, taking up 6-8 spots and blocking part of the drive making it hard to get by. When she was confronted about it, she got upset and claimed it was for kids and the management was "evil" and must hate children. The manager finally had to call the company who controls the buses and complain.

  • @rickn501s

There's almost never a parking shortage at an apartment complex during the day. Many folks are at work or school. Come 5-6 pm there isn't a spot left. Goes bad for ya if you're starting to cut out of work early just so you can snag a parking spot and not have to walk 1/2 mile to get to your front door.

There should, in my mind, be about 1.333 guest spots per apartment in a 100+unit place to allow for partner/roommates and occasional overnight guests, as well as parties, etc. from time to time. It’s a delicate balance: not enough guest parking and there’s lawn/curb/make-your-own-spot violations, too many parking stalls and the derelict cars stack up faster than Johnny and the boys can yank ‘em.

There is easily enough commercial parking for rent and nearly all builders have sites with enough space. The issue is such companies try to increase their profits further by not using that and instead parking around residential areas. It used to be a problem around here where I live two with one landscaping company (located at 5 mins drive away) having 2 vans and 3 trailers here in the neighbourhood. Seems that after the municipality didn't really act after reports, unknown individuals spraypainted the trailers bright pink. Then they were reported again. That worked and the landscaper removed his vans and bright pink trailers. 😆

@@nvelsen1975 _Good thing those ppl weren't caught painting them trailers bc if it were me they'd be in a casket reguardless of the illegal parking. It's not their property so why try to vandalize? It's several other ways to solve an issue._

Trouble with letting tenants park their work vehicles at their apartment is if you give them a day they will expect a month, crazy how that works.

Dude at the beginning said "Move it, go!" Wow. Embarrassing to me as a Mexican the way some of them act when they're getting towed (we're better than that). I hope all the Towtrucker family is thriving, so far, in the new year. Keep 'em coming Johnny and be safe out there. GOD bless America!

Good evening sir! So look forward to your videos! I had my car towed by flatbed today due to a rear flat. I'm 65 and had it towed to Discount Tire because I knew I needed 2 new rear tires.

We have had people leave their trailers, "For just a minute!", on our parking lot at work. Yes, we aren't open to public sales on the weekend but, we take delivery of goods to the warehouse on the weekend, and your trailer is in the way. We don't want YOUR liability of the trailer. If you have one parking place, don't take up others, and if it's not your land, stay OFF.
