    @@globe2555 Well, unless you're capable and willing of performing an 'arse first' removal out the door of those two, then potentially have an armed standoff with a couple dozen BLM lynchmobbers coming to 'ask' / kill you about removing them 'purely out of racism', it's probably best to just let them ramble on until they run out of steam, then have them served eviction papers for their agression so you have the last laugh. Confrontation is only good if you can win it and make something good come of it. Used to work security and being two meters tall and into martial arts there was very little that could get past me and my colleagues. Still we often just let them ramble, interupted or distracted them instead. It's often just the best approach. Not mirroring their agression and not being drawn into escalation by such bully behaviour was key in our training. Like 70% of the training was about that. The key thing was to let the staff at the center there know and understand that even if the problem is screaming at the top of their lungs, there is no danger and if they attack anyone, they will receive prompt face-to-furniture therapy. My record for listening to death threats and screaming sits at a whopping 145 minutes straight. When police still hadn't showed up even then (friday night, busiest they have) I dealt with the two drunks who were the cause of that disturbance and things got pretty painful. And while I won that fight by quite a margin, I still had bent glasses and a small rip in my shirt. Probably would've had some bruises too if I didn't train that often. Point I'm making is: It's often not worth it to instantly stop off bullies like that.

    @@nvelsen1975 I agree. I have trained self-defense, but that wasn't because I wanted to fight someone, but to get out of a situation as less harmed as possible.

    It wasn't the wrong tag. GA laws states that the vehicle has to be tagged in the birth month of the owner. They do give those short time tags, then require you to pay full price again in the birth month. I went through that when I lived there.

  • @reallunacy

    @reallunacy

    @@Lazarus1940 kind of, but not really. Most people in the tax assessors offices will give you a plate for more than a year if you are one to three months away from renewal. Additionally, several years back the ad valorem taxes changed where when you register the vehicle you will pay 6% of the value of the vehicle plus the plate fee which is $20 unless you choose a special plate. After that you only pay the plate fee annually so you won't be paying the full amount each time, just the $20 portion.

    For anyone curious about the first guy: GA law requires the vehicle to be tagged in the birth month of the owner. If he tried to tag it even one month prior, they would give him a tag that expired on his birth month, then charge him full price again for a new one. I had it happen to me when I lived in Sandy Springs, and the DMV does not care.

    To be honest, it did not seem he had the mental capacity to understand complicated matters like tags expiring. The leaniency of those with expired tags continues to baffle me. Here, if your road tax is expired (Or the car has not had it's inspection, or has no insurance) the plates come off on the spot. And police will actively drive around parking lots with their ANPR camera cars, and if a car is spotted, plates are taken on the spot. We dont want dangerous not-inspected cars, uninsured cars, or cars with no road tax on the roads. Also if you miss any of those things, you are also liable to get daily fines until it has been fixed or the plates have been turned in

    You do all right honorable job sir glad you stood up for that young office manager who probably didn't even have a clue what those guys were talking about and who knows what could have happened. Also the way you were able to winch that motorbike up on your tow truck amazing. I wouldn't want your job for all the money in the world but it's amazing to see how you're able to do these things and get these things done and how helpful you are to the people who really need this service. God bless you sir and may you live long and live a prosperous life.

    You showed real decency by heading to the office knowing those hotheaded people were going there to harass the female staff. Hotheads don’t respond well to reason. You did right by that lady, Johnny! Kudos on towing off the car that took up two spaces! Serves them right on getting towed! Convenient themselves by inconvenience others. Learn to park the right way or get yanked! Thank you for all you do, Johnny! Stay safe and God bless!!

    It's unfortunate that the guy and his dad from the first potential tow for expired tags just didn't "get it." His lack of knowledge regarding how tags work, why the dealership gave him a 30 day tag, etc. led him to get frustrated and throw a fit of anger. His dad should've been an example for his son and shown him how to behave calmly and get the info. But he didn't and his anger allowed his son to get more angry. SMH, where are the leaders/teachers? Their anger was misdirected anyway. The son should've driven to the dealership or called them to get info and then he should be calling or going to the tag office to get it renewed. Johnny, thank you for going up to the office to make sure the young lady wasn't verbally abused and/or intimidated. I'm glad she locked the office while you went on to finish the towing. These apartment complexes need to have a security person working in the office especially on days they call in vehicles to be towed. Be safe and God bless you! 😊🙏🏻🌻❤️
