They are recycling footage 😂. When Parker is in town his personal truck has always been the Toyota. But on site he is in the GMC. I'm guessing they just mix film for affect

It always blows me away how Parker is so far ahead of the rest on gold rush. I get that he has a larger operation but it’s clear he has grown year in year but the others seem like they’re dreaming of a good year. Parker just makes the right decisions in the right way, fair play to the man.

I recall the early days when Parker was still in school working summers with his grandfather. Using grandpa's old machines and scraping out what little if any he could. Best of luck to you young man.

I like the way they block out the Cat names on equipment. As if the average viewers are in the market for million dollar earth moving equipment.

I think it’s more that the show wants Cat to pay for the product placement but they aren’t idiots and are fully aware that the average viewer isn’t in the market for earthmoving equipment.

It's because only Volvo is sponsoring them. Anyone on Goldrush actually, it's always Volvo and the new Cat D11. I bet they didn't pay even half of the price that the new Volvo 950 or the 750s normally cost. The Caterpillar equipment is just what they bought themselves without sponsoring. Maybe the other Cat Dozers were sponsored too in some ways. I'm not saying it was all for free. If that was the case, than damn, it would be like a lottery win.

i was in Dawson 4 yrs ago and met both Parker and Chris. Ran into Chris walking down the street and maybeb3 weeks later inwas sitting across the street from the Hall where the miners bbq was about to take place relaxing on the steps and here comes Chris and hey Troy how are you doing and sits beside me and we had a nice chat. He is just a super down to earth person as they say "salt of the earth" . A while later a lovely young lady whom inwas chatting invites me to sit and eat at their table so i did. I'm enjoying the first few bites of my steak and notice someone sit in the chair across from me and its Parker! He imtroduced himself and shook my hand and we all had dinner together. This young lady i Had met ran excavator feeding Parkers wash plant! Anyways, what i learned is that these are some very noce people that put in long hrs and hard working people who devote a lot of hrs to finding gold

No company makes profit in the first 2 or 3 years. Even with good payground he will need 2 years to make profit. But then he has like 8 years ahead of earning money. He can get $80 million out of this claim or more. On the Indian River it was around $100 million.

now that the cut is fully thawed, a plant like that twin of lucifer brings about 450-500 ounces per week. thats about a million bucks in gold,per plant,per week. that up there was just to test the ground and bring somethign in for the fuel bills.

Hearing how deep in debt he is makes me really understand why so many of these big bosses never seem happy no matter how good the weekly result is. Its like, "Yeah, we made 250k this week, thats great. Only 17.75 million to go before I stop being in debt and can put some actual profit in my own pocket. Only another what, 71 weeks before im no longer in debt from our current bills at this rate? Yaaaaay."

@@simonpfau7408 You cant dig all year long, not sure what the gold season actually is, quick google suggest 7 months of the year is spent mining gold. The rest is either spent setting up or waiting for flooding/freezing to be done. Like 18 months of mining at that rate, split into 7 month increments means an estimated 2.5 years. But again thats JUST to cover his current debt of buying the entire place. It doesnt cover crew pay, maintenance, fuel, licensing fees, whatever. I mean, we have seen the price list for some of the machinery and it runs into the hundreds of thousands or higher easy each. So id estimate, conservatively, 5 years worth of steady production before he starts seeing a real profit off this purchase. 5 years he is going to spend hoping and praying nothing goes too badly. Because he will have virtually zero cushion until this debt is paid off.

no,the whole area plus mashines did cot 15 mio. he paid a part from his cash reserves (the stuff that is supposed to pay the fuel until they have enough gold to sell). he has another bill at the end of the session.and the last one probably next year. so probably 3x5 mio. the "broke" part came from the fact.that he used the cash reserve for the first payment, so if somethign breaks and needs expensive repair,he has no cash. the fuel goes on credit,if no gold comes in,he could not pay back that fuel credit. thats all.also,gold comes in now plenty,he will not go broke.
