Adam driver's gold mining twin
This is great! I remember Parker working his grandpa's land and wasting grandpa's money on a desperate gamble. Parkers perseverance and can-do attitude were amazing for a teenager. As soon as he was able to get a deal to mine he proved to everybody that he could outdo all the other show participants. He put his profits into better equipment and better land. Tony Beets was brought into the show because he was gouging Parker over leasing his good mining land. Parker learned his lesson and stopped leasing land from Tony & got his own land. From then on Parker was unstoppable. Parker's innovation to set up conveyors and bring the wash plant closer so his dirt trucks would not take up so much time and gas in feeding the washplant proved to be brilliant. Parker has earned everything with brains and hard work. He is a good but tuff boss. He pitches in and leads by example.

@@maxsjoberg788 But his attitude will never allow him to be that warm-hearted person his grandfather was. Even Tony beep Beets is a warm-hearted guy even if it doesn't sound so. He's the guy that made Parker successful. That Parker isn't able to see that shows his personality and that's far away from nice. Paying royalties is completely normal. And even if you have to pay Tony a million or two too much. His advice and pushing Parker to success is worth far more. Parker actually ruined the relationship and could have learned far more and faster with the old man(sorry for that Tony😂)

@@h.g.buddne Good point! Tony has shown a good side to Parker this season. Parker is very young and Tony is old. What was Tony like when Parkers age, warm hearted? The way Tony barks at his family I wonder. Tony has his family to thank but Parker has built employees from scratch. When Parker gets to be Tony's age I think he will be more warm-hearted. I remember the time Parker caught an employee moving gold from the counting room without any authority. It looked like a theft in progress but nothing could be proven. I can only imagine how Parker had to feel about acting on his gut suspicions. Parker grew up quickly after that.

@@mastercreamer1398 His name is Chris Doumitt. He has been with Parker since day one. Back then Parker had nothing and was an unproven teenage goldminer - but Chris always believed in him. He used to be a loader-operater at the plant. But serious back-problems put him in the gold room, which is probably the most important job on the site. Parker and crew often goes to Chris for advise, and he is highly valued. He might not work the amount of hours in the field as the younger crew. But in a multi-million dollar company as Parkers, there are plenty of work to do away from the field.
John is smiling down from heaven at you Parker. He would be proud to see his grandson completely obliterate what he was trying accomplish for over 50 years in just under 5.

Parker is still around and doing well - great to see. I remember watching him and his grandpa mine when I was a kid
You can’t take it from him, the kid has gold in his veins. Good for him.
I think the reason gold rush can be so great is mostly because of the stories and evolution we can see within the people on this show. Parker has got the best one!
Parker is such an amazing young man ever since I first saw him when the show first started. He knew what he wanted to do after school and he had the best mentor avaliable which was his Grandfather. His dad was okay, but his Grandfather mentored him so well, reminds me of Yoda and Luke Skywalker or even Qui-Gon Jinm and Obi-wan Kenobi. Props to Parker and his crew that is always there to support him.

I'm glad for Rick Ness that he gathered his strength, gathered a good team of a great mechanic, and that the most important thing there was gold and thanks to the device they washed it from a big pile of sand. Better than the next season, there were big expenses for everything, and there was no gold land. This season I kept my fists on Ness so he would come back next season.

Daversj that still takes nothing away from Parker's results, dedication and damn hard work. Many people start off in bussiness with some help from family, friends etc. Doesn't mean that when they succeed beyond anyone else's expectations that he shouldn't get ALL the praise they deserve. He's known failure and success, but at the end of the day his work ethic paid off and that's what matters most.

All that land and water out in the middle of no where..... Like I have found over the last 50+ years you don't have issues with potheads like with a lot of others. They tend to be calmer and unlike a drinker they can get out of bed in the morning and go to work without reeking of booze. Let them burn on site like in Parkers case they will stay in the cab of a dozer until the next day. Most don't smoke to get wrecked so doing their job safely is also not an issue. They did a study recently (which will never be widely spread) about drivers , sober, drinking and smoking weed. The weed smokers were the safest drivers of all 3.
