Parked regen ran over 1 hour then aborts. What to look for, how to DIY and get back on the road.

In this video, customer states parked regen ran for 1 hour then aborts. Once we plugged in we found active fault code Soot Level HIGH SPN 3719 FMI 16.
We also found inactive fault codes which helped find the problem. The first inactive fault code was Parked Regen Failed, DOC Temp In Low Preventing Dosing SPN 3711 FMI 31 and Intake Throttle Position Deviation Error SPN 51 FMI 2.
We did have a coolant leak that was repaired off camera.

Does the computer actually tell you regen done at the bottom? The area where it says regen successfully started.
It’s a 2013 freightliner m2 106 26 foot box truck. Cummins 6.7 engine.
how often should I do a regen for maintenance? I have the otr tool that let's me do a parked regen. I idle little as possible. we drive as a team so the truck is always on the highway.

Truth is, driving regen is always best. The truck will automatically perform when conditions are correct. Temp, soot level, speed
Hey man I recently baked both filters and now while my truck doing regeneration white smoke 💨 coming from behind the truck and is it ok is there any issue I should take care ? Thanks 🙏

I got the solid light but not the check light. I only get the 3719 fmi 16 while truck is in regen mode. Thoughts?

During the regen, why are the pressures? DOC inlet? What other codes are you getting?

@@CarlosDieselElectric I have no other codes. I don't know what the pressures are because I don't have the program yet. It's regening but not letting the truck know it's regening
That's a lot of black soot on the doser. Is there an exhaust leak?

It was pretty dirty. Exhaust leak and a few other things need to be addressed on the next video.

Need to plug in with the Insite software to see what codes are being generated. If you have issues with the Freightliner side. That is a different software

I have a solid amber light and ACM diagnostic code 3711 31. Does that mean the valve in the beginning of the vid is stuck in the open position? I’m new to trucking but sounds normal to me

@@_MadManMurk brand new truck, I believe Detroit no longer uses the ITV. They changed that back in 2017 or so. What is your DOC inlet pressure when the truck is trying to do a regen?

@@CarlosDieselElectric Not seeing anything on dash gauges about DOC inlet pressure. DPF is green in zone 1.

It’s REALLY easy to avoid, 1) don’t buy a Freightliner 2) don’t buy a DEF truck

The DEF trucks can be a headache. But in California it is a must.
