The ground graphics are correct, it will be a 2-sided ground when opened in a couple of weeks IRL. The 3rd stand is under construction now, and then the 4th will follow a year later. In the game, there are extensions set up for 1st July 2021 and 2022, which should complete the stadium at over 5,000 capacity. I know this as I set it... I'm the Boston researcher. This year we've finally been able to set capacities by stand, so it's currently (approx) 2k seated stand down one side, and 1.2k terrace behind one goal.

If there was ever a job you never knew existed but suddenly really want (Mansfield Town researcher) It's obvious really but I thought FM might have a couple researchers per league not on a per club basis, even more so in non-league football.

@@aidanhagley8805 Wouldn't call it a job, no payment is received. If you check the credits in the game, you'll see just how many people help out across the world

A friend of mine actually works for paul green at his football factory in pontefract which is used to help grassroots football grow, top man by all accounts.

Basically Boston built a new stadium and the chairman spent all his money on housing developments and ran out of money for the last 2 stands. When the project is done and the houses sell he thinks he will have enough money for the remaining 2 stands

Well the 3rd stand is already in progress (the terrace is there, with a roof and everything), and the foundations are in the for the 4th. You essentially have no clue.

@@joehunt7097 Nobody expected him to whip £12m out of his bank balance on day one to fund it. A lot of factors have forced the cost up over the last few years (originally is was less than £6m), and the timescales meant we'd have to move in this season, which we are doing. He can leave it as 3 sided for all I care, the 4th stand is only for away fans.

Hey Jack, probably a bit too late now but just an FYI, under the "next" button on the induction windows, there's an "exit door" sign which you can press to skip the tutorials! This is great! I have just started a park to prem save.

These are my favourite kind of saves. I always kick off a save as unemployed and with nothing but play it as realistic as possible so can only take jobs that are close enough or pay enough to move house etc. These can go for years and are some of the most fun saves you can make in my opinion.

Southport I started mine with. Highly recommend okera simmonds, been with me from vanarama north to league 2 👏👏👏

Funnily enough I started a save as Boston during the beta. The stadium looked the same when it was first built. Got a note after the season saying they'd finished some work on the stadium adding another ~300 seats and that filled in the other stands at the start of the 2nd season.

Doesn't have a stand but does have a massive video board, sounds about right

you got me going on this, and oddly i got boston to strt, i was offered an interview at livngstone. so played 3 games last night, and got 4 points, lost away to top of league, won at home against mid-table and drew to 3rd place Ive decided that im going to be stylistic in my boston formation, gone with a 4-2-3-1 wide tiki-taka vertical - short passing, high defence line. Preston just didn't do it for me, in fact he got a 4 in first game, so gone with burrow up front, and he scored 2 and assisted 1 in next 2 games, rollins has been assisting , and thanoj is a freekick expert :)

When you change the mentality to attacking/very attacking, try putting 3 strikers if possible. It always worked for me during my Salford City save!

@@superdave4985 It's not wrong, it's a brand new stadium that opens next week IRL with 2 stands completed. In a couple of years on FM, all 4 stands will have been built 👍

FM 21 really seems to be to easy in the beginning. I have just started a game with Bournemouth, and so far I have beaten Chelsea and Arsenal comfortable in pre-season. I have zero in transfer budget, cant offer any wage contribution when I try to loan players (so I get noone in), but still it seems like there will be no problem to get promoted.

In preseason teams play massively rotated teams often swaping entire starting 11's at half time. Would read too much into it until the league starts

To the Englisch Football Fans: Which City is the biggest that have a non League club? And which club is it?

Depends how you look at it. London is a massive city and has lots of Non-League clubs, but they tend to represent small areas within London, so I imagine that's not really what you meant. I would suggest the biggest club currently in Non-League is Notts County. Yes, Nottingham has a Football League team too, but it was a massive deal when Notts County were relegated into Non-League. They've played top-flight football in my living memory (and I'm only 35), and they used to be the oldest Football League club in the world. The biggest city represented ONLY by a Non-League club (i.e. with no Football League club as well)? I can't say I know for sure. Somewhere like Stockport or Chester or Chesterfield maybe. Possibly Bury?

@@michaelkobylko2969 In terms of biggest city represented only by a Non-League club, I believe it would be Wakefield at a 325,000 plus population. Albeit you may dispute by surrounding towns/villages etc..
