A true artist right here. Park Hyoshin is indeed a legend, a lot of people still don't know about him, but he has a lot of fans in Korea. His voice is the proof that you don't need to speak a certain language to feel connected with someone. Me for example, I cried so much when I first listened to Wild Flower and I absolutely had no idea about the meaning of it, but his voice, his expressions, he is the song, he becomes the song and even without reading the lyrics, I cried. Now, no matter how many times I listen to this song, I can't seem to control my emotions, he's been through a lot, I respect him so much and I wish him nothing but the best. He is a masterpiece.

searching for jhope's lines in spring day I completely agree with u.. I heard this song while singing Karaoke with my friends... I was like OMG.. I am never a fan of Kpop or those K pop stars... It shocked me the first time hearing this and music is truly universal language... but somehow I missed out the name of the song and it took me until today to listen this song again... no doubt the best Kpop song ever

You're not alone there. When i first listened to Snow Flower in 2009, i had the same experience. I had no idea what he was singing about, but he tore my heart out and i just cried listening to him singing it, no MV, no visuals. From then on i was hooked! No one in this whole world can touch my heart like he did. Wild flower is no exception. I cried my heart out when i saw him in concert in 2014. My goal is to go to his 20th debut anniversary concert next year (no announcement yet but I'm 90% sure he will do it!) 😄

Awwwww seeing him crying like this broke my heart... :( I mean I know what he's been through I'm a HUGE fan of him so I kind of know he's been working sooo hard in the past to the bones and he collapsed on stage cause he was exhausted and he was exploited they had no pity and consideration for him or whatsoever and he got diagnosed with spasmodic dysphonia which normally should make him almost impossible to understand. And yet he's here singing beautiful songs such as this one and I know why he cries singing this one...He wrote this song with his friend and pianist and it is about him being exploited in the past and such as a wildflower standing against the wind and being successful even after all the problems he had. He's such an example and an inspiration to anyone who's been struggling in life (like me) he did a lot for me like teaching me tht no matter how hard life can be nothing's impossible and no matter what's your issue you'll always succeed in whatever you undertake. Beautiful

SMAnthonyW The pianist is JUNG JAE IL! He's a well known 'genius' korean musician that has been working with several singers on their albums, working for musical and even OST for movies, and... He met Park Hyo Shin when they served for military together back in 2010, and since then he works with PHS on musics, "Wild Flower" is one of them... Jae Il has been PHS's bestfriend till now, even Jae Il finally joined the same agency with PHS last year... And currently they're working together again for PHS new album ^^

I have listened to this song so many times since its debut 6 years ago. And here i am today, crying uncontrollably listening to him again. Because i remember what he had been through, his agency in the past bullying him (to the point of suing him despite him being innocent!), losing a close friend who is like his brother to suicide and countless other adversities. And i remember the day i was at his concert for the first time ever in December 2014 when he sang this song live for the very first time... and he cried soo much that day, my very own eyes became so blurry. Before i know it i realise i was crying like a baby and nose running like a tap..... Park Hyo Shin, you are a warrior and i am proud to call myself a Soultree!

I come here after knew that Park Hyoshin is one of Kim Taehyung's friend. Wildflower is beautiful song, and his voice is amazingly beautiful. He has deep beautiful voice just like Taehyungie. Beautiful.

He has a special place in my heart. I listened him whenever i felt depressed and his songs help me to relieve my anger and sadness. This song's lyrics also really something. It's like u were in pain and now it stopped bleeding but still scars stands there.

I honestly don't know how many times I've come back here and watched this over and over. I never watch it just once, and I've never left a comment. What can I say that hasn't been said? It always makes me cry. The pianist and Hyo Shin are basically performing a perfect duet. I'm so frustrated because it's all been said before. I want to pay them a huge compliment, but what? What can I say beyond moving, tear-inducing, perfect, gorgeous, delicate. It's the delicacy that makes this hard for me. Very impressive how the pianist was able to improvise the ending when Park Hyo Shin unexpectedly couldn't finish the song, and waited for Park Hyo Shin to begin before following up and finishing the song with him. Truly a master that I feel should be pointed out. When I look back at it, it was like he knew that Park Hyo Shin was upset and had the empathy to cry along side him (looking at the pianist's face). His musical intuition and emotional bond with Park Hyo Shin is just so awesome!

Because I live in the US and because a very kind and helpful, Korean young lady let me know that Hyo Shin does not tour and that his tickets are gone in approx.30 seconds (even for Korean audiences), I have little hope of ever hearing him sing live. As strange as it may seem, that wish is #3 on my bucket list. Being a singer/songwriter myself (not known), I can absolutely appreciate the talent that Mr. Park possesses. His vocal range is truly remarkable, and he seems to treat his fans and those around him with enduring respect. What a wonderful human being he is! I not only pray I will one day get to see him, but I do also pray for (and want) him to be happy for the remainder of his life. Everyone suffers setbacks and hurts throughout their life, but Hyo Shin has had way too many, especially when he's been innocent, as well as including the loss of his best friend while he was in the military. I read that he was not even able to attend his friend's funeral, though I do not know that for certain. If so, what a shame and how sad that makes me. I realize his "friend" was successful and almost everyone in Asia probably knows his name, but I didn't mention it on purpose, because, in the long run, it doesn't matter if someone is famous or not, to Hyo Shin this man was someone close, someone tangible and someone he deeply cared for and loved and being famous had nothing at all to do with that. I wish Hyo Shin the very best, and I hope he continues to make music for many years to come. If anyone knows if his Broadway-like play, The Man Who Laughs, usually has tickets available to be purchased, please let me know. I have been working on learning Korean for almost 6 years now, but because I'm not extremely young, when learning new languages is much easier, and because I don't have anyone to speak with or to correct me when I am saying something incorrectly or needs to be said in a way that's respectful to elders, so it takes a lot of time. Thank you very much for this video and for providing English subtitles. What an inspiration Hyo Shin is! I have shared his music with my Mom, and she was touched by the lyrics and recognized his elite vocal skills instantly. Park Hyo Shin, you have worked hard and you have done so well. Thank you for that. Saranghae.

What enduring dedication and passion can achieve! His kindness, self-restraint and strength topping a foundation of humbleness are all qualities that are Hyo Shin Shi. Such a raw and authentic performance of his iconic song; it is a classic for years to come. Absolutely no one in my opinion, can deliver "Wildflower" with the conviction, emotion, and humility that Hyo Shin Shi does each and every time. On my bucket list is to witness such deliverance in person. I will listen and feel with my eyes closed, heart open, and palms to my chest to keep my emotions from spilling over. He is sooo authentic and so fragile not afraid sharing his true emotions with the audience, sooo beautiful and touching each time leaves me tearing and want to comfort him. he takes you deep inside his world and show his greatness with this L E G E N D R Y performance and HEAVENLY voice.

No one can beat PHS.. The main reason is because PHS sings this song with his heart while others singers i think they focused more on techniques..

Technique only cant bring a good song , for example look at this guy here kzread.info/dash/bejne/faWazsGtqMi7dto.html His technique is awesome , hit very high note also but totally no emotional , i feel nothing...

He sings with his heart because his technique is exceptional, while other singers need to pay attention to that more. PHS is very talented

When Jung Jae Il playing the piano looks just as emotional as Park Hyp Shin's singing 😭😭😭.

I come here because of jin.....but I end up cry because of this masterpiece....he is so talented...

I prefer this live version to the MV since it was much more emotional. I've also tried to hear covers of this song but really, none of them can compare to the original version, simply because I feel that their emotion and singing are still a bit "lack". Besides, Park Hyo Shin + white hair = heaven I love that the audience was so quiet and paid much attention to the performance. It was perfect.

He is an angel without wings. All his things are so beautiful. Song, voice, personality, mental, willpower, appearance, soul. Sincerity, emotion .. The more I know him, the more I love him and respect him. Thank you for being born in the same era.

People who can watch him live are so lucky.... This song is so personal to him, he got so emotional every time... The MV came out when I was in a very difficult and depressive phase of my life. The song comforts me a lot T__T

Everything about this performance is so majestic and he seems so connected to the music that I actually got goosebumps watching it, woah c'est très majestueux !! I was so immersed in him and his voice that I barely paid attention to the lyrics, but I felt the emotions flowing across my skin anyway and I don't even speak or understand Korean. Music, performance and art are indeed the universal language.

Him, his voice, the lyrics, the music, this live, the way audience were absolutely silent throughout the performance and cheered him on later, his tears, his small voice thanking everyone at the end ... everything is so beautiful 🤎

OMG! I felt every single ounce of his pain. This is the power of emotions and passion! You can't teach/learn this. It only comes from life experience. For all existing and inspiring singers - Put all your heart and soul in everything you do, and one day you will produce your own "masterpiece" - As Park Hyo shin just did. I haven't cried this hard to a song, ever!

The silent and the possessed look from the crowd is priceless 😂😂😂. They seem to be sucked into the performance that they forgot to breath

I came here after hearing BTS Jin sang it beautifully on Run BTS and I'm glad I did.. Park Hyoshin sang his heart out and he definitely deserves standing ovation with his outstanding performance👏👏👏

So this man is Park Hyo-shin. I had to look him up. Him and V are good friends. He is a ballad singer and musical theater actor. The man is 42 😳😮 I thought he was in his early 30’s
