The details are impeccably gorgeous - from the iron staircase in the foyer entryway to the carved door, panel walls and bay window. I also like how it was subtly updated with unintrusive recessed lights and black marble island/ breakfast table to the induction oven. Lovely ❤️

Love Paris! Hope to come back there again someday.. But to own an apatment like this is such a dream! ❤️

They did a good job of fixing it up but keeping all the old molding. However, I'd bet it had some gold leaf and colors on the walls originally.

Breathtaking!

Picture perfect as it is. The white wainscoting on white walls reflect plenty daylight within and blended with the herringbone parquet floors creates a soothing feeling all around. The kitchen opened to the parlour is a trend these days as people host and entertain in the kitchen. So bringing the parlour within makes sense. Oversized windows are a plus. Looks like a pre war building and it is magnificent as one can deduct from the marble access staircase. I know nothing about the XVI arrondissement ( is that how you write ), yet I surmise it must be a very desirable neighborhood. Empty is good , it provides a sense of volume and light. The only thing lacking is the narrative , yet again, the apartment speaks by itself. There are no gizmos , no nest tricks. And I assume the broker might have to speak to many viewers under different languages.

Thanks, the 16th district is one the best and most attractive district in Paris ( with 4 / 6 / 7 ) and the building is typical from the 19th century / Haussman period. You are right about comments or visiting it with some explanations which we start doing now. Thanks for this interesting feedback.

I can see the lack of a wall and a door between a kitchen and a living room is an international trend. Apart from that, the whole pair of apartments, and the whole building are wonderfull.

Careful about the wooden floor, it seems like it have its years written in it and the door in the apartment don't look like the most soundproof ones. Also, there is definitely going to be lot of noise from the street which is not very pleasant at night or in days you want to have your windows open.

,,,some people here commented that the apartment looks nice and clean,,, well it's a naive, it's almost laughable,,,, the apart is close to perfection and probably in the range of1.5 to 2 million Euros because it has the most important creterias,,, 1_the building and the access is better than good,,, 2_the layout is pleasant,,, 3_the floor and the walls are beautifully restored,,, that's in addition to equipped kitchen and good bathrooms,also you have to know that an AC is not a must in Paris, you only need it for 6 to 7 weeks,,,usually Parisians go on vacation during that time ...! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Really naive to be impressed by emptiness and painting. I lived in those apartments 1895 - 240m2 - one bathroom - one kitcheen apart - was the normal surface for a family. Plus one cellar, plus maid rooms under the roof, plus room for the maintenance or washing machine. This one is cut in 2 to make it easier to sell, the former glory has been lost. Where do you put a washing machine ? Where do you dry the clothes ? Ventilators has been added to compensate the windows. Bathroom small, no window and close to the parket. Cellar cut in 2 parts ? parking ? If anything breaks down you wait 1 week for the craftman.

Beautiful. The white is a bit overwhelming but I suppose furnishings would tone it down. Not sure about the ultra modern kitchen. On it's own it's nice, but it's battling with the vintage style of the rest of the apartment. Clashing almost. The view out the windows is a Parisian postcard. 8 out 10.

Beautiful apartments, but I am sure that they would be extremely expensive to either buy, or rent, probably around a million euros per year in rent, or to buy, one and a half million euros! Having a elevator in the building, which is unusual in Paris, would increase the price as well! I am happy with where I am now!

They could have framed those mirrors at the entrance: the space would not have lost the illusion of roominess, and it sure would have made it look less trashy. As they are featured in the clip, they are totally out of place in the "Haussmannian" universe... And no matter how cozy you may want to furnish the area immediately around the fireplace, the whole room will always look like a kitchen with a view.

Would be a nice investment and will fetch a nice rent. Best Wishes and Profound Regards

Sure, but imagine with some nice furnitures, it can really look gorgeous. The main elements from flooring to ceiling are kept which is the most important part and you've got all the comfort of a renovated apartment in one of the best location in Paris.

It is so bare, glistening and lacking in character and warmth, that it had to be reduced. Today's redesigners should all think of moving to Northern Sweden. There is nothing even remotely sensuous about this apartment: it is a piece of the Gobi Desert, hard and frozen

Obviously a lot of money was spent renovating but it somehow ended up looking common, especially the walls of mirrors that hide the closets are all wrong for this type of Haussmannian interiors. The fittings (kitchen and bathrooms) seem out of sync with the rest of the apartment too and made it look cheap. Very strange.

En vrai des appartements comme ceux-la on en trouve à la pelle en province, dans des villes charmantes et vivantes, à deux pas du marché couvert ou des quais de Loire,, ou du centre historique : Blois, Angers, Bourges, Dijon, Moulins, Vichy.... Et pour environ 250 000 € Non les prestations de ces deux appartements la ne sont pas du niveau luxe. Juste situé sur la planète Paris.

Il ne faut pas exagérer ! On en trouve en province mais pas à 250 000 euros. Beaucoup de gens auraient se type d'appart en Province à ce prix là ! Et admettons que vous ayez raison à combien (toujours en province) estimez vous la taxe foncière, les charges ? Non un tel endroit certes coûte moins cher qu'à Paris mais quand même une blinde ! 😂

On ne puet pas comparer Paris et des villes de Province, chaque marché est spécifique mais oui on trouve des bijoux ailleurs, à des prix vraiment attractifs, un exemple en vidéo à Périgueux, qui est une charmante ville de Dordogne : kzread.info/dash/bejne/iIOBm9pxeNWreLg.html il s'agit d'un bien dans un hôtel particulier à seulement 162K€ et il y en a un autre encore plus beau dans le même immeuble pour 230K€ www.leggett-immo.com/acheter-vendre-une-maison/view/94779KBA24/maison-a-vendre-a--agence-immobiliere-en-dordogne- cela dit à Paris, dans le 16e arrondissement, ce type de bien prestigieux, dans un immeuble Haussmanien et dans un parfait état, coûte forcément plus cher.
