Honestly i didn't expect this outcome from this game but the team played well. Though my big issue that i still have with the team is maintaining focus especially in the first ten minutes of the second half. We've seen this happen a couple of times this season and puts pressure on us. So i feel like we need to improve on that.

I think Xavi told him to stay wide. Raphinha does not have to because Cancelo can keep width as Raphinha are allowed to drift centrally.

Gundo/FDJ/Fermín, with Fermín having the freedom to bomb forward. Pedri is not fully fit and should come off the bench.

I think we did good this game we were more of a defense side what i liked most about this game is the way we locked mbappe

Fermin deserved to start not only that he deserves to have been subbed in before pedri As for Yamal next week he should try crossing or passing the ball to kounde coz Mendez is very good defensively winning 1v1 is gonna be difficult

I think in addition, he combines well with others. He makes great runs towards the central area. How many crucial goals has he scored with his runs. It's interesting that his injury and Yamal's good form meant that he 'lost' his place on the right... but his good performance meant that he now has his place on the left. Interesting Karma. It seems like he's a lot more confident and comfortable on the left than in the beginning of last season when he was restricted to the touchline. Good to see his (and Xavi's) evolution.

ferran Torres could start with raphinha because both know to run in space so that both wings can be effective

What if we put Rapha back on the RW n start Felix instead or Rapha stay on the LW n Ferran starts at RW and they swap positions throughout the match n Lamine gets subs on later in the game? Just a thought i dont know with no Christensen to rely on in the second leg I am kinda worried how ee are going to manage for whole 90.

Raphinha plays better on the left.

They had mbappe locked down, they made him switch to cancelo’s side. Didn’t work and went back and still didnt work 😂

I’ve always said this Raphinha is better as an inside forward His playmaking and runs in behind are is biggest strengths. I’ve watched some of his games at Leeds he was not forced to stay wide he was usually given a free attacking role to impact games.

This can be controversial! But I think we should use Ferran - Lewa - Raphina attack in second leg. why? not because Yamal is bad but because of his physicality. We all know Whoever starts at right wing must help Kounde in neutralising Mbappe and Mendez and we saw in yesterday's game, Yamal was struggling to do that. I will actually prefer Raphinha in that position simply because of his physicality and defending quality. Yamal could be use as superb sub if needed.

For the return leg, I will go with Lewy Raphinha Gundo Frenkie Pedri Cancelo Inigo Curbasi Araujo Kounde Raphinha will function like a 10 and a false 9 Gundo Frenkie Pedri will overload tje midfield and control it. Cancelo will occupy the left flank as an inverted winger Cubarsi will act as false pivot, do nullify Dembele in the middle Inigo will take care of the Barcola/Hakimi partnership, with support from Cubarsi. Araujo and Kounde will deal with the Mbappe/Dembele and Mendes partnership, with help from Frenkie and Pedri.

Christensen and roberto cant play second leg If it means mbappe is gone be shut for lamine to also be shut then there is no problem What i really want is more minutes for Fermin and ferran they gone be dangerous is the come in or start at the right time

I'm beginning to consider ferran torres playing on the right instead of lamine. Bcos imagine what would happen if gundogan and ferran attempt runs from the right , while raphina deals with the left. With a midfield of dejong gundogan and pedri. This can be deadly, plus ferran has that defensive work rate.... What do you think
