I wish every line hsd rubber tyres. It could ease service on line 7B, make line 13 less crowded (I would also run trains that would fill every platform, since some can accommodate 7 cars), line 7 also needs it for 7B. 3 and 3B might also get it.

@@rwk31hs93 As a matter of fact, Paris metro line 1 is fully automatic using SAET system (GoA-4) which is a more advanced technology. DLR in London still requires a staff member to always be on train (GoA-3).

Martin Pintamalli Line 1 the trains are completely unmanned. No driver or guard. Uses similar technology to the DLR in London, with loops in the track and tracking equipment.

The Paris metro has a higher passengers traffic, a higher train frequency, a denser network, 2 fully-driverless lines (and a 3rd is coming). There are as well 4 new lines currently under construction. We could add to that that, while London is currently building its first RER line (Crossrail), Paris already has 5 of them, among which one is currently being extended west of the city to La Défense business district and beyond.
