Paris, France - La Défense Walking Tour Paris
La Défense neighborhood offers visitors a different panorama of Paris. Packed with futuristic skyscrapers, this area includes a shopping mall called Quatre Temps with a variety of restaurants and retail electronic stores. This department store, built in 1980, was the largest in Europe during the eighties.
As well as soaring towers of glass and cement, the district houses an open-air exhibition of over sixty contemporary works of art, squares, fountains, and hanging gardens.

I cannot get over how perfectly blue the sky is! What a gorgeous day and city this is! It's amazing how "use" to being filmed people are now a days! No one acts bothered by it. Years ago they would have looked at you oddly. Truly beautiful tour! Thank you for sharing!

This is Paris La Défense the second business district in Gran Paris... the 1st is inside the 8th district and 9th district (The QCA business district of Paris) but it's inside old renovated building typical of Paris and not high like in this area of La Défense, the skyscrapers are authorized

La Défense is a newly developed business district in Paris. The main city of Paris still remains the same.

In reality this district exists since the 60s! It is true that this last one underwent many restructurings these last years what could believe that it has just gone out of ground but it is not the case (moreover, "la defense" which is the name of the district, is a peripheral city of Paris, it was a simple waste ground thus nothing was destroyed)

This is a video on La Defense, Paris' business district. It's actually outside of both the city limits and ring road. Most of historic Paris largely dating from 1600-1915 is intact since you last saw it, with newer constructions or parks having almost exclusvely replaced or refurbished unattractive post-WWII buildings from the 1940s, 50s, and 60s, or former industrial tracts of land, such as those that unnecessarily exposed railway yards or had warehouses, and industrial businesses that became obsolete.
