Superb work by ART TV to document the never-been-done before exhibition of Van Gogh's final works. Wow ART, thank you. I will never understand how Van Gogh made the colors he made - as nobody else has the same impact. And the D'Orsay has the best examples. Thank you for capturing the ending film of the wheat field - I loved it.

All my childhood I could see Van Gogh's paintings, my parents bought a few of them (pics of them :) so I could see them every day :) Nice video indeed!!!

J'aime beaucoup Vincent, une vie tragique de privation et de souffrance. Je m'identifie particulièrement à ses paysages d'automne et d'hiver. Mais mon tableau préféré est Champ de blé avec des corbeaux, le dernier qu’il aurait peint. Les coups de pinceau épais, le bleu foncé du ciel, de l'horizon, une couleur associée à la mélancolie, un ton très sombre qui symbolise une tristesse intense. Les corbeaux qui représentent la mortalité, prémonition du futur, de la mort tragique de Vincent. Un paysage lourd et sérieux, qui ne communique pas la sérénité du décor champêtre mais plutôt un trouble qui perturbe profondément le spectateur. Le vert a une qualité venimeuse, comme un courant, un flux qui infecte l'esprit. Le chemin qui coupe et divise le champ de blé mène à l'indéfini, au-delà de la bande horizontale. Le panorama d'une nature qui n'accueille pas mais afflige, du désespoir et de la dégradation psychologique de l'artiste.
