3:16 I never understood why Paris said that about them. They didn't magically get into one of the best schools in the country. They had to have just as amazing grades as Paris and Rory and all the accolades as well PLUS be absolutely amazing in whatever sport to be singled out for a scholarship. Paris always had this perceived air of superiority around her.

yeah paris can be arrogant. I don’t like how the girls help them with something they don’t understand and Paris still says they have styrofoam for brains. Emotional and social intelligence is still intelligence

THIS always bugged me about this scene! How can Paris say they are dumb when they go to a very hard to get into Ivy league school? She seems to put down a lot of people at the college throughout their colleges years, but this was the weirdest one imo.

She represented for a lot of young girls and women during that time. First being an unconventional First Lady of having her platform be about healthcare and other more difficult discussions was very “controversial” during that time. While she knew she put off her political future for her husband’s, she didn’t let that dim her ambitions. After the White House, deciding to run for a US senator seat was a very bold for a former First Lady. She got a lot of criticism and flack for her drive (plus being a woman with that ambition always brings a target on one’s back) so someone like Paris who displays that similar drive and determination looks at Hilary Clinton as an example of a woman not letting outside forces deter you from what you want
