I know. I felt really bad for her and the fact that they aren't trying anymore, but I can't judge them, their son is sick too and that may have clouded their vision, making them think rashly.

Why did they have another child? This is so irresponsible, poor little guy.

my brother had a condition called ataxia telangiectasia and its a mix of a neurodegenerative, immuno-degenerative, and increased risk of cancers. :? unfortunately he got lymphoma and passed away from it when i was 4 (this was about 14 years ago now) and he was 9. i hope these people can help their son, but i also hope their daughter doesn't pass away in any pain.

It was incredibly selfish of them to have another child knowing the other one has that condition. I hate these parents now the children have to suffer because of their selfishness.

"To far gone to save" that really hurted me for some reason.. i really just can't describe how i felt when i heard it

I honestly hate incurable diseases. I pray deeply for your family.

This is so scary. My heart just dropped.

I have been following this story for a few weeks, praying that being on here and the Doctors tomorrow gets them the last bit of money they need. Praying for Ollie! And Addi!

Its a 50% chance it would be passed on from the parents so in short they shouldn't have had another because they were lucky when it affected 1/5 out of their children

There is no chance for her, she got diagnosed way too late for it. But because of it they diagnosed the youngest. Sucks? But thats life.

I’m gonna assume you aren’t actually a professor. If her brain has been mostly eaten away by the disease....there is literally no chance at all that she will recover. No matter how much you pray, you can’t regrow a brain.

It got me when they said, the daughter could not be saved😭

The treatment is probably an experimental treatment which is why it’s not in the US and also why their insurance will not cover it. It’s a newer disease they said and there’s not much people know about it. I don’t know why the parents would want more children knowing there’s a chance the child could have the same disease as his sister. Hope it works out for their family

They probably got it late because they didn’t know maybe when the son was born the technology was a bit better or they found it easier

Oh, yeah- that's really going to help. So freaking tired of hearing people say that they'll pray and send them their love when someone is suffering. That only makes you feel better. When you get to heaven and God asks you what you did to help others, "Well, I prayed for 'em and I sent them my love..." That'll wash.

I think the people disliked for one they dont like the situation and dislike the Disease or they dont like the fact that the son has a chance and the daughter doesn't.

This is so sad. I hope they raise enough money to cure little Ollie and I hope they all have many more years to come (especially Ollie and Adeline ) I hope God visits their house and heals all. "The way they said it's too far gone for her" made me so sad, it sounded like they gave up on her. I know adeline can't be cured but it still really upset me

I could not deal with having two children slowly dying before my eyes. I lost one at 10 weeks old due to a heart defect and I can tell you that it broke me. I hope they can at least save that baby boy.
