I don't travel often, but when I do, I travel via Meg White's drumset.

All stop motion basically. 100’s of drum kits, and guitar amps used. The director is a god. The white strips are incredible.

That was fun to see your blind reaction to this piece of pop culture 🙂 This music video was directed by Michel Gondry, the director of *Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind* and *The Science of Sleep.* He is known for his surrealist stop-motion animation he uses in his films, so it made sense when I saw he was the director. The White Stripes are a big deal in the music industry, with their song Seven Nation Army having one of the most iconic riffs in Rock. You can hear it at almost every major sports game or from any kid learning the guitar or drums for the first time. 😊 Songs like this remind me of AC/DC. Their sound was so simple yet had so much energy!

The music video was directed by Michel Gondry. His music videos are usually surreal. Check out "Jóga" or "Human Behaviour" by Björk, "Fire on Babylon" by Sinéad O'Connor or "Cellphone's Dead" by Beck.

Don't take this as a dig, but maybe once you've watched the video try doing a little research to add some context and increase your understanding. I respect what you're doing, and thanks for reacting to this song.

If you are doing duos. Please check out Hall and Oates. They were basically a hit factory for years. Songs include Sarah Smile,I can't go for that, She's gone and many more.

*The 70's? You guys serious? Just because it's a reaction and you can't already have seen it beforehand doesn't mean you can't do some research on the internet about the band and the song! Jeez!*

I think its from about 2009 ,and even though they are Influenced by 70s rock it was much more recent . I think it was totally Jack whites concept and problems Meg's also to do the drum kits and guitar amps . They used stop motion animation filming techniques or alot of drums . Thereare loads of lyrics in verees and its abiut his childhood but partly fictions. Onky the chorus has very little words, thanks for the video glad to see you enjoy this song !

I think this song is from 2001 or 2002 🤔 I could be wrong but I know it was released in the early 2000's. The genre of this song and other songs that the White Stripes performed is called garage rock. Same style as The Hives, Wolfmother, The Mooney Suzuki and many more

This is one of the best songs by them. I believe Meg wasnt even really a drum player but made up all of the beats based on Jacks guitar

There is a stripped down bluesy acoustic version of “Fell in love with a girl” you should check out. Or check out the documentary “It might get loud” it’s incredible.
